Gestalt - Community Package....

I have been using this for a while and ran into an odd bug after updating to the newest versions of the pathfinder game system and the community packages. lvls 18-20 of the gestalt class picker no longer work. When trying to select a class they instead give a drop-down menu of all drop-down selections in hero lab (-none-,-bonus non-mythic feat, all the way down to zyphus)

It is only lvls 18-20, and I'm wondering how that could have happened.
 
Is it me, or does this thread need to be updated?

Opse, wrong thread! Was supposed to be the one that explained on how to use the Gestalt package, which changed.

I am having a similar issue as Garret, except for me its with levels 17 - 20.

Also the CR of the character is being treated as if all the levels are counted, not just the "gestalt" class (for example: a lvl 10 fighter/rogue is showing as CR 29)

And the Caster Level of a gestalt character is factoring in a similar way. My level 15 gestalted sorcerer/ninja is listing a CL of 30 and a Concentration that is calculated as a lvl 30.

Thanks for the bug report. I will be working on a fix as soon as I can.

I had the exact same problem with a Gestalt Magus at level 19 getting her spell picks for the expanded spell list power.
The work around I've found, is that you have to make one pick at a time. make the pick, close the specials window, make another pick, close the specials window, rinse and repeat. Maybe this will help your problem as well.
 
I can load it, when I click the pathfinder button it just keeps saying loading and then the program stops responding (Not Responding) on the tool bar for HL.

The manual way I can tell you for Windows. I don't know the directory for Macs.

But go into "C:\ProgramData\Hero Lab\data\pathfinder" and look for the following files:

PFRPG_Gestalt_Adjustments.user
PFRPG_Gestalt_Class.user
PFRPG_Gestalt_Component.str
PFRPG_Gestalt_Mechanic.user
PFRPG_Gestalt_Source.1st
PFRPG_Gestalt_Tags.1st

And delete them. I have never heard of user files causing HL to lock up like that...
 
Fixed it, just used the delete all files not updated box and re updated, lots of errors but it runs for now, gonna try to reinstall the 3pp stuff and see.

If it returns you will need to contact LW Support to figure out why. If the HL Software is locking up its above my pay grade. :(
 
I feel like such a fool for needing to ask this, but I just installed this addon but I can't find where to turn it on. How do I make the gesalt class appear in the list?

Edit: Nevermind. I just had to reinstall the Community packs. I feel so dumb lol

My group is using the Gestalt rules and are getting an error regarding maneuvers known and readied when using anything from Paths of War. It is not counting the Gestalt levels for the other classes correctly, or at all.

"You do not have a high enough Initiator Level to learn that maneuver"
 
Thanx for the Gestalt tool.

I have a level 4 Monk (Zen Archer)/Druid (Wolf Shaman). I'm getting a Validation Error saying "Still Mind (Ex): Replaced by more than one Variant Class" even though I only have Zen Archer under Monk.

Error upon most recent update

I just updated to the most recent Pathfinder RPG build and am now receiving this error when trying to load an existing gestalt character.

The gestalt tab is now gone as well as the gestalt levels. Gestalt is no longer an option from the level up menu. Thanks for the fantastic mod. I've been using it for months and it has been great.

Once you get an error message HL goes into Safe Mode so loading a character will not work.

The above error was caused by a clash between the 3PP Pack and Pathfinder v11.2. You need to download the latest 3PP Pack v1.9 and the above error will be fixed.

Whenever you upgrade Pathfinder make sure you always grab the latest Community Packs also. :)
