Hi,

I playing a class with a animal companion who has trip as a special attack. Hero lab points this out in the special tab by saying that something like "this character may make a free trip attempt when it hits with a certain attack".

But, hero lab doesn't say WHICH attack has trip on it. I looked it up in my paper copy of the bestiary and CRB, but in my opinion, hero lab should make it clear which attack has the trip "kicker". (it's the bite attack btw, not the claws).

(rake is missing too, from the regular , non companion version, of the creature as well but that's likely a separate issue.

That logic I believe is being added. Until then you could use my Adjustments addon and use the "Custom Text: Weapon" adjustment to append the wording "Plus Trip" to your natural attack name (ie Bite Plus Trip).

This way you would get the reminder until HL gets to changing all the creatures.

You could also use "Weapon Elemental Dmg, Custom" adjustment to append the "Plus Trip" to be listed right after the damage dice ie (1d6+1 Plus Trip).

Can you tell me which animal companion race this is? The issue is very easy to fix.

In this case a jaguar, but I don't think it was on the wolf companion either (which also has trip)

Not jaguar, (that's in the flavor text as part of the description lol) but leopard. The animal companion in this case is the leopard, but again none of the companions who have a trip attack have it indicated as to which attack the trip applies too.

Could it be system wide? No monster with the trip ability has it indicated which attack the trip applies to?

Sorry for the inaccuracy.
