Savage Worlds Adventure Edition

Lone Wolf, Please release the SWADE content. I need something to focus my mind into.

This. Please, please, please take a little time and review this ruleset! It's written, sitting on your "desks" and waiting for review and release into the wild :)

What is the plan to release the adventure edition rule set. I am planning to start a campaign. Just want to know, if I should wait a little or not. Greetings to all of you. :-)

No word yet as far as I can tell. I've asked here, and on the HeroLab Facebook page, and even briefly pirated one of the HeroLab Online threads in this forum (since that's the only place that's getting any attention that I can see from the folks at LoneWolf who decide what gets looked at when).

Crickets. Nothing but the singing of crickets. And they're not even singing very loudly.

Seems like all things Hero Lab Classic are either being ignored or are just not being responded to when anyone asks about any word on updates.
It most assuredly doesn't inspire confidence.

There are Shadowrun 5 datafiles in need of some love that have gone with no word for longer than the update for SWADE.

From the HLO forums:

I'm finally getting the time to circle back on these items for you. Please note that I won't be actively monitoring the HLC forums. Heck, I rarely check the HLO forums anymore and am only doing so recently because there's so much new stuff out. So I'm going to answer your HLC questions here. You can forward this information to other forums you deem appropriate, but please remember that I won't be monitoring those places.

Now that we've got the PF2 GMG wrapping up, SWADE should get the attention is deserves. There should be some details coming soon regarding SWADE.

Prior to having all the Campaign Theater stuff in place, there wasn't a compelling reason for PF1 users to migrate to the HLO space. Now that we've finally got that stuff operational, PF1 migration is a viable path. That said, we still need to flesh out some of the CT functionality first, and implementing the migration will entail a sizable chunk of work. So nothing is imminent, but the subject of PF1 migration is going to be a "hot topic" in-house in the weeks ahead.

The issue with HLC 64-bit and RW got completely lost in the past many months of coding madness. And it's unlikely to get addressed for at least a couple more weeks, based on our current game plan. But I'm putting it back on my radar, and I'll do my best to investigate it in the weeks ahead. Sorry I can't be more definitive on this.

And just so nobody else needs to dig into that forum to find what the heck these guys are talking about, rob posted the following on 3/23/2020:
SWADE is coming first to HLClassic. We're working to have it available in the next couple weeks.

We are dealing with a couple of structural changes. We had everything from Deluxe tagged and were using that to drive things, and that got reversed. Now all the new stuff is tagged instead. This is to make it more compatible with existing material. But this is in motion now, and we are working through the packaging issues.

With all of the VTT fervor these days I'm tempted to create Effects tags in my data files for the way Fantasy Grounds use them, so adding, say [Persuasion +1] in appropriate spots and otherwise using the SWADE conversion guide to make SWADE versions of things in files. Will the tagging you mentioned work within a file for delineating a way for HL to use one version of a thing over the other depending on which ruleset is chosen?

So will getting the current definitions for Savage Worlds be a no go? Will there be a NEW package for SWADE, or can i just go buy the data file for it now and then update when the new one comes out?
