Rifts for Savage Worlds

Some bugs and requests:

The bonus Ambidexterity Edge for Psi-Stalkers is throwing a requirement error if Agility is less than d8.

The bonus Champion Edge for Cyberknights is not adding to the Edges tab.

There is no option to "split" a Psi-Sword into 2 with the reduced AP yet.

There is no Edge for Improved Cyber Armor or Master Cyber Armor yet.

For the Experience and Wisdom Hero Journey option, it is throwing an underspent resource warning even when an item is selected in the drop down box.

It also looks like Master Psionic is not doubling base ISP.
 
Issues -

I think this is something I need to rework.

Right now, when you select something on the Drop Down, you still need to go to the appropriate tab (Edges most likely) and choose that same edge again.

I can redo this like the Framework and Racial tabs and add a chooser table directly on the Hero Journey tab.

I haven't coded in years, so not sure what I can do to help, but if you need (or want might be a better question) testers, I would love to assist.

Looking to try and help, or at least give it a whirl.

When I "Test Now" with the new file it gives the following errors.

syntax error in 'eval' script for Thing 'fcSRJuCyb' (Eval Script #1) on line 1 -> non-existent thing 'trkBurn' used by script.

Thanks. Can you try grabbing all of the files off the Github? I think there were 5 or six that I had to change for that as well as the HJ tab fix for choosing Edges...

Welcome! :)

The more users/testers the better I say. Grab the files in my Github folder linked in my wig and put them in your data/Savage folder (or wherever your Savage worlds data is located).

Then, build characters and post here or message me what is an issue :)
 
Downloaded the whole group on github.
Dropped the files into my Hero Lab/data/savage directory.
Loaded up Hero Labs and selected Savage Worlds

Received the following error:
Syntax error in 'eval' script for Thing 'fcSRJuCyb' (eval Script '#1') on line 1
-> Non-existant thing 'trkBurn' used by script
Sytax error in 'eval' script for Thing 'grpSRJuice' (Eval Script "#1') on line 2
-> Non-existant thing 'trkBurn' used by script

It told me it would try to load in recovery mode, which it did successfully.

I figured out if I went into Tools -> Show Editor, I could load the .dat files.

When I try to Test one of the files though, I receive the same error as above. :(

Guidance on what I'm doing wrong?
 
Ok, somewhere along the line a sync was missed from my local version to GitHub.

Everything should be up to date now. grab these files:
  • Rifts.1st
  • Rifts.dat
  • savrifts_miscellaneous.dat
  • savrifts_resource.dat
  • savrifts_tab_herojourney.dat
  • savrifts_traits.str

that should fix the missing trkBurn issue and make sure it's all up to date.

The Cyberknight Iconic Framework should validate the Holy/Unholy Warrior Edge without the normal pre-reqs.

The In-Play Tab selector for the Psi-Sword (Split) function does not toggle like the selector in the Framework Tab.
 
Got it working, now to play around with it.
Question, might a .txt file be added to the Github with which Icronic Frameworks are considered done, and which are works in progress?

That way, I could focus on testing things which need to be tested?

Easy fix for the Prereq. :)

For the 2 MDC Armor, I may add a bootstrapped piece of gear for that. Let me see what I can come up with.

Since they are two different checkboxes, i’m working on improving the In-Play selection. This will end up toggling the “Mega Damage” entry in the wpSpecial field.

I’ve noticed that AP and the wpSpecial entry don’t show for weapons in the Statblock, but I may change that for the Rifts Statblock at least.
 
As I'm using this to create CS NPCs (and get even more familiar with Savage Worlds CG) I noticed none of the CS equipment is in the listing.

So I subbed an Triax T-11 Enhanced, it adds the Pace enhancement, Armor and Toughness. Though, it doesn't appear to enhance the Strength attribute.
 
Also noticing some oddness with the Combat Borg. Maybe I'm missing something, but I think I should be able to select Beyond the Limit, but can't see it in selection. Even though I've given the character enough exp to be Veteran.
