Check which files you have selected to output - I believe HLExport will disable those controls if a definition (.def) or config (.cfg) file is selected, since third-party updates should never include those files.

Hope this helps!
So this sort of lead me down the right path but to Select a game system you HAVE to select a .cfg file. Though after you do that then you can click on Select Files and if you only pick some .user files then it lets you change the ID and version number information.

Using the new Tools->Select Only .user Files if used after selecting the game system .cfg file will also open back up the fields for input.

Thanks

Ancestral Arms

I am having the same issue with a Half-elf Ranger. The Exotic Weapon Proficiency is not being added as a bonus feat at first level. However, the bonus Skill Focus feat is being removed. I am trying to create a Pathfinder Society Character and I believe that this is an option, but it doesn't seem to work. Can anyone advise on this?

* I'm not sure where exactly this bug occurs, but Weapon Finesse is not registering for use with the Aldori Dueling Sword as part of the Half-Elf's Acestral Arms Alternate Racial Trait. I encountered this by drawing up a half-elf barbarian, took the alternate racial trait of Ancestral Arms, selected the Aldori Dueling Sword, selected Weapon Finesse as a feat, and it still used my Strength (a +1 bonus) instead of Dexterity (a +4 bonus). However, when I rolled this up with a fighter with a normal Exotic Weapon Proficiency feat (rather than as a racial bonus feat) and Weapon Finesse, it calculated the Dex for the attack bonus properly.

Another spScriCha0 error

I just got another of the spScriCha0 errors that have been reported in the past, this time when opening the Dire Bear from the Import Stock Portfolio option. All is well after clicking past it.

EDIT: I'm also getting the same thing when importing an Ettin.

"Errors were encountered when loading the saved portfolio! A record of these errors can be found in the file "C:\Users\Emmanuel\AppData\Local\Temp\hero_lab_load_issues.log". If you notice incorrect behaviors in your portfolio, please report it to the data file authors (you can contact them from the Help menu).

. . .

Pick 'spScriCha0' has been orphaned due to missing thing in batch '236'"

I just created an avanced rust monster. There is no antennae touch attack, as such multiattack is not available.

Thanks Mathias

If the antennae is a secondary natural attack, you could just use the tentacle natural attack, and livename it antennae.

The 'Blood Rage' spell adjustment, it grants the strength bonus, but does not apply the penalty to the armor class.

Beastiary II

Giant Crawling Hand

Health is Incorrect. Hero Labs shows 66 Points but Beastiary II shows 52

Grab Ability says Small. There was an Errata for the Beastiary saying you can Grab things your size or smaller. (I've seen a few creatures that reflect this issue).

Edit: It also is showing they are immune to Bleed Affects. Looking at Undead Traits that is not one of the immunities.

Hmm I just tested this under a blank character and for each 2 points of Str it gave a -1 to AC. So at +10 Str the character had a 5 AC. I also used my data set that has no .user files in it.

You don't have any custom changes that could be interfering in any way?

Very possibly ~ I'll check it again. Thanks.

Relating to the Bestiary, the Shadow has immunity to critical hits among its many other immunities and I can't find a reason why.

Evil and lawful alignments wrong

I have a NE cleric with a CE god. I was trying to add animate dead to my spell list and get "you can not cast lawful spells, if you or your deity is chaotic." I opened my data file created a copy of animate dead and then changed the alignment of animate dead from evil to lawful and did not get the error then. Thinking some where in the code where it makes the check is transposed.

Fast movement for barbarians isn't properly restricted by heavy armor (if you are strong enough to wear heavy armor without being heavily encumbered, you gain the benefits of fast movement, even though you can only wear up to medium armor and gain fast movement).

The Shadow has immunity to critical hits because it's incorporeal.

Can you specifically give me where this is? I looked through the Core Rulebook, Bestiary, and Bestiary 2 and while there are many restrictions on what can hit an incorporeal creature and how much damage it can do, there is no stipulation that states it is immune to critical hits. This doesn't mean I just didn't miss something, but now I'm curious.

Core Rulebook, pg. 31:
"This benefit applies only when she is wearing no armor, light armor, or medium armor, and not carrying a heavy load."

Monk bugs

Hi

I've just purchased the program and I ran into what seems to be some bugs in the Monk.
I have a 10th level monk with weapon focus (unnarmed), the weapon focus bonus should also apply to his CMB and its not adding it.
Also, he has an amulet of mighty fists +2 and his flurry of blows attacks don't seem to be counting either that or his weapon focus (unnarmed). I believe a solution to this would be to make the flurry of blows part of the unnarmed category (I couldn't figure out if it already is, I'm only starting to learn the authoring program) but I'm unsure about this. I checked and there are no other enhancement bonus applying except for an enhancement bonus to strength. please help

Inheritor's Crusader Prestige Class

The description of the Inheritor's Crusader Prestige Class shows that they get 0+Int mod skill points at each level instead of 2+Int mod. The program correctly gives you 2+Int mod when you add the level, but the description is incorrect.
