Been that way for long time. They can't remove just one as that would cause x number of characters to break as LW has now way to know which skill was taken by gamers.I just noticed that Craft (Armor) skill is listed twice, and they have two very similar IDs: skCrafArm and skCrafArmr
I'm assuming this is just an accidental double entry

Except that prevents someone like me from doing a replace Id against that skill then. Which would be bad as it prevents the community from putting house rules in for that skill.Fix for that is to make one a replacement for the other. Using the replace thing tag. Then hide the replaced skill.
BAM fixed.
I'm also getting the "has been orphaned for pick index '0'" error message. When first loading up a *.por file created using a version 3.8 or less the *.por file loads fine. Once you save the *.por file in version 3.9 and reload the *.por file, the error msg's appear. No changes have been made to the *.por file other than a load then immediate save in version 3.9.I just updated Hero Lab. I now have this error showing up on my character
Code:Usage pool 'psiPPUsed' has been orphaned for pick index '0' Usage pool 'jXP' has been orphaned for pick index '0' Usage pool 'jSP' has been orphaned for pick index '0' Usage pool 'jPrestige' has been orphaned for pick index '0' Usage pool 'jPresSpent' has been orphaned for pick index '0' Usage pool 'facPresSpt' has been orphaned for pick index '0' Usage pool 'facPresTPA' has been orphaned for pick index '0' Usage pool 'jPP' has been orphaned for pick index '0' Usage pool 'jGP' has been orphaned for pick index '0' Usage pool 'jCP' has been orphaned for pick index '0'
Any ideas?
I know there was several "Search" type issues already reported but I wanted to report one from inside the HL Editor. The "Find Thing.." where you can select a specific section of Things to search is no longer working.
In the attached picture I have selected "Spell" and one can clearly see that feats and traits are displaying in the list.
Thanks
I am not sure what you trying to say here? But Abilities and Racial Abilities have always displayed separate from Feats.Feats come up with Abilities.
I downloaded the new data set for the Bestiary 3. However I can not figure out how to create a character with the Animal Lord template from the Bestiary. It almost looks like it is missing? If so, what are the plans to add it. And if not, where do I find it! Thanks in advance.
It does not matter what you pick now but the list of Things is always the same. Exactly the same. Which means it no longer nicely allows one to sub-select the list of Things.
Animal Lord was one of a few things that was left out of the Bestiary 3 files, because the abilities it adds are based on what animal is picked it is extremely variable. For example, if you pick the Cheetah as your animal, you get sprint. If you pick Lion you instead get Pounce and Grab. If you Pick Leopard you get both Pounce, and Grab and also a 20 ft climb speed. If you pick elephant you get trample... so on and so forth, you get the picture.
We don't have an easy way to do this at the moment. Although perhaps in the future we will.
