So I am trying to create an artifact weapon in the hero lab builder (since there is no way to do it in just Hero Lab) and am unsure what I am suppose to do to get it to fully register as an artifact like the pregenerated weapons do. I check the box for Minor Artifact in hero lab builder but I am assuming I need to put some code in somewhere that I am missing.

No checking that box registers it as an artifact, the only thing registering an item as an artifact does is removes the price in the purchase section and replaces it with "Artifact" and it also shows that it's an artifact in description.

Just so we are on the same page by 'builder' you mean the editor? So you have gone to "Tools->Start Editor" and created your own .user file.

As marking something as Artifact is just a tag, no script required, my "guess" is you didn't do "Test Now!" in the top left corner. Each time you change something in the editor you need to do "Test Now!" or a CTRL-R to restart HL.

Just FYI is you may wish to check the Glossary of Terms to get up on the lingo. Then its worth checking out FAQ#2 as it has all the place for info about the editor and even 4 part intro video.

And blah I guess I should wait before answering lately as I keep splatting on top of Andrew's answers. Really not doing it on purpose.

Yes, the editor. Sorry. I checked the box and it did nothing for the price, I knew about the test button so that isnt it. I am trying to get it to register as an artifact for the purpose of requirements for legendary weapon abilities as well, perhaps I should move this to bug report?

Update, the price thing is working now. I think I just needed to restart the entire program (I have noticed that some times I have to do that). However I still am unsure as to what I am suppose to enter to get the legendary part of my weapon to recognize its an artifact weapon for the purposes of pre-requirements.
