I have created an error thread on the Paizo messageboards, trying to find a central place to compile all the info about our release. The simple solution so far is that end users have not had all the support files loaded.
If any of you can drop by and take a look, we at Frog God Games would sure appreciate it! thanks guys Skeeter Green FGG Rappan Athuk error reports |

Seems like all the issues are based on people not having the official data packages.
My advice is put that in the Message of the Installer to try and make it clear that they are needed. Its what I do for all the community data packages. For your naming convention of Unique ID's did you add an extra two-three letters to everything? This would sure help prevent any clashes with Official packages and the community ones. In example for the Dodge feat would officially be "fDodge" you could use "fFGGDodge" instead and that would prevent any clashes. My advice would to whoever is making this package should install the Community packages also to make sure you don't run into any Thing clashes. Many DMs have these extra packages installed. Hero Lab Resources: Pathfinder - d20pfsrd and Pathfinder Pack Setup 3.5 D&D (d20) - Community Server Setup 5E D&D - Community Server Setup Hero Lab Help - Hero Lab FAQ, Editor Tutorials and Videos, Editor & Scripting Resources. SC-
We did add the 3 letter name to our files, that was one thing we were 'forward thinking' about ! lol That's good advice all around, I may just send this link to our digiteam so they keep track of it. We have people WAY smarter than me on the working end of this. I would be standing around throwing things at the monitor with a blank look on my face (you know you're all thinking of a caveman right now, arent you?!?) BTW, the community here has been a BIG help, and we're trying to gather support best we can. Thanks to everyone! Love you guys! Skeeter FGG |
