Hi all,
I'm new to HL, and trying to build out my current level 3 Human Fighter for my Pathfinder game. I've configured most of my character, added my weapons and armor, but noticed that my AC is not calculating correctly. It is showing AC 11, when it should be 20 (it's not taking into account my breastplate +7 and shield +2). I noticed a circle with a cross through it icon next to both armor items, and when moused over it pops up "You can't use this piece of armor, because it's the wrong size for you". Both items are set to size Medium. I have tried adjusting my height, weight, strength, and every item size. Nothing gets rid of that error message and lets me actually equip both armor items. I can't find any mention of this via google or forums. Does anyone know why I can't equip these and why I'm getting this size error? Thanks! |

My "guess" is your character is not medium its Large or Small. But without the .por file I am guessing. Please post your .por file so we can see it and help. Read FAQ#5 for how to add a .por file to your post.

You can change the sizing of an item, on the menu tab for an armor or weapon item.

Hi Shadow, .por attached.
I have tried all the size settings for the armor (and one of weapons, a custom magic bastard sword is blocked too), and none of them change that error message. Thanks! |

The size of an item is set when you add it to the hero, and it looks like both pieces of armor you added were for Large creatures. The sword is set to Colossal size. You can tell by the (L) and (C) appended to the names of the items.
Re-add the items while you have the "Click to add X of size:" dropdown set to medium and you should be able to equip them just fine. |
