I'm building a PC, and the GM has told me I can swap low-light vision for darkvision. Adding darkvision is easy enough, there's a spell adjustment already for that. But how do I go about suppressing the low-light vision?
I'm comfortable doing stuff in the editor ... if a custom adjustment is required, I can probably make it happen. |

Is the low light vision from the race, or one of the types/subtypes? If it is a type/subtype thing, there are tags to remove the default abilities of that subtype which you can assign to the hero (I think there might even be an adjustment for that already). If it is from the race, then those bootstraps usually are unconditional, so your best bet would be to rebuild the race in the editor with whatever changes you need.

Step 2: open character and press "CTRL-K" and turn on "ShadowChemosh's Adjustments". Step 3: Go to the "Personal" tab to add a new permenant adjustment. Add "Racial Ability, Disable" and "Racial Ability, Darkvision". For the Disable adjustment select Low-Light Vision. For Darkvision set the counter to 60 or however far your darkvision is. Ah, perfect. Thanks, ShadowChemosh.
I had that installed already, but hadn't enabled it for this character. Silly of me. |
