Hi,
I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this.
But, are there any plans to add a dice roller into Hero Lab for iPad?

Thanks

Just to check, do you mean other than all of the dice rolling features already built in to the iPad version?

Or, to out it another way: I presume you are requesting the ability to roll custom dice expressions, since it already includes the ability to roll everything on the character sheet.

In that case you want to install my Adjustment Addon. Then you can add the "- Custom Spell Weapon -" adjustment and type in whatever dice values you want and app will roll it. Made for more of peoples most common spells like Fireball or Burning Hands but good for anything you type in.

See THIS thread for in use screen shots.

That's exactly what I'm looking for.
Unfortunately I can't seem to figure out how to get the mod to work with my Hero Lab for iPad.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I can't tell if you can't load it or get it to work after loading. So as you can't activate a source (ie Book) on the iPad you have to initiall load the addon into window/mac HL so you can do CTRL-K and get into the "Configure Your Hero" window and turn on "ShadowChemosh Adjustments". Then you can load the .por file back to the iPad and then you will be able to use the new adjustments.

For loading the file on to your iPad the best way is most likely to setup the Community Servers. So on the iPad you click on the top RIGHT "View Updates". Then in the bottom right side is a button called "Add New Update Source". You want to enter the URL located in THIS post. Then tell it to check for updates again and you will see a new one to download called "iPad Community Super Pack". That contains my adjustment addon.

You can follow the setup instructions the POST above and it will let you setup the community servers on your Windows/Mac HL and you can then download the Adjustments file on your desktop HL.

Hope that helps.
