Hey all,
I've noticed that spellslingers tend to have many different Effects that they cause during games and in the heat of battle, it can become difficult to track all those bonuses and penalties efficiently, especially when there are currently not enough scripts written to account for them all. does anyone know of a Library where these custom scripts may be found? I've looked at cheeseweasel.net, but there's not much to show for there. Seeing as "Spell Effects" should be covered by the OGL, I don't know why Lone Wolf wouldn't be able to host, organize, or at least point the way to such a repository. I'm going to be doing quite a bit of scripting in the near future for my wizard, I'm hoping that there may be others out there that can benefit from the labor, or maybe the reverse may be true? |

I have been thinking about the need for script library for a while now. I'm thinking a wiki might be the best option for this as we could also do community tutorials and a script library. Maybe LW could setup a community section on the Hero Lab Wiki? Colen, Rob, Mathias what do you guys think?

This would be very nice indeed. This would be a big help to both new users and old alike. Its always easier to simply modify a script than write a new one from scratch.
Plus their are dozens of scripts that Mathias writes on these boards and it would be nice to have them grouped in one place for easy reference. |

A wiki like this is a great idea! We already have the authoring kit wiki at http://hlkitwiki.wolflair.com/, but a second wiki that allows you guys to contribute and comment on scripting stuff would be awesome.
I'll look into getting something like this set up. Thanks for the idea! |

I completely agree with having another library for scripts available.
Any progress? |

Bump.
Is this still in the to-do list stage as I still think it would be very handy. Especially now that I am seeing posts and scripts getting so old they vanish from the boards. Its a shame to lose such good information. Please remember when thinking of projects for us (or reminding us of them) that it's now 5 weeks to Gen Con, and that our emphasis is on what we intend to have available for the convention. This would be nice to have, but it's not a high enough priority that it's likely to be dealt with before Gen Con.
