The sixth installment mentions that in order to use paid content with self-developed realms it is necessary to use the cloud service provided by LWD. Does that mean it won't work without internet access (e.g. in my gaming room)?

You will need internet access to purchase the content and actually integrate the content into an existing realm (either into a staging area or woven into your other content). Once that process is complete, you can use it offline just like you do now.

How are updates to released content going to be handled and work?
For example I purchased and download ver 1.0 of Rise of the Runelords After 2 months I notice ver 1.2 exists which contains errata Can I download this? How does this work? If I've already marked pieces as player viewable will this be retained? Since we import this content into our Realm, is it a copy? or the original? If it's a copy and updates are made, is their a way to propagate these changes into that copy? |

If I purchase content and then modify it to suit. Will re-downloading the content overwrite my changes or will it be inserted into a new staging area?
Similarly can multiple content versions be downloaded and retained as separate data. If I allow my cloud subscription to lapse can I still get at the original content I own without the cloud service. Like an offline download repository that is linked to my account? Will there be a default blank realm template made available for each publisher?
For example I buy Rise of the Runelords - Paizo and wish to mimic the layout with my own content. Rather than copy the already populated topics I'd like an unpopulated realm template which matches the standard Paizo publishing layout. In the same vein a Frog God Games, Rite Publishing empty realm template ETC. I'm specifically interested in buying this for Reign of Winter, is that AP currently in the works? If someone can confirm that it is, I will buy Realm Works right now.

As it is unlikely that there will be any spotlight videos anytime soon, how about "un-stickying" this thread? Would help remove some clutter from the forum and free up space for new, more relevant stickies. Like a list of free player-made content or such.
