As a house rule, we've added d12 between the damage steps of d10 and 2d6. We felt the there was too much of an increase when using spells like Gravity Bow or Lead Blades when using a 1d8 weapon whereas a 1d6 weapon only increases to 1d8. Thus a 1d8 will increase to 1d12 and 1d10 to 2d6.

Is there a way to implement this in Hero Lab with something selected under the Abilities tab, whether it be from base software or Shadow's additions?

Hmmm assuming you would want this to be automatic on characters I can't think of an easy way to implement it. I can think of some really hard ways to implement it.

I could maybe add an adjustment to force a weapon to be 1d12 damage but it would be something you would have to set yourself and turn on/off...

Maybe LW has a way to do this. Sorry...

I thought it wouldn't be possible, but I wanted to ask the experts since I've been known to overlook things from time-to-time.

I believe manipulating damage progressions to insert an extra step would be very messy (if possible), as ShadowChemosh says.

d12 isn't too much different from 2d6 anyway; more chance of average damage but much less chance at that lovely MAX 12 damage.
