Is there a mechanism in HL besides Journal Entries for tracking statistics needed for achievements? For example, there is an achievement for dealing 1000 HP of damage. But for every 2HP healed magically, 1HP of damage dealt is removed.
It would be great if there is a mechanism in HL to track all of this automatically and then show a characters progress towards specific achievements (either automatically in the feat selection dialog or as a separate item on the character sheet if the achievement is added as a "goal"). |

Those feats have some seriously complicated tracking to determine eligibility. Likely best to just track them on a different sheet of paper - can't think of a good way to do it in hero Lab.

Agreed. But I bet there are some in the community that could script up a solution in Hero Lab if the features needed were implemented. Since you can already enter damage taken and healed, it seems like it would be pretty easy to save them off in a few integer variables in the character portfolio file and then reference them using the scripting mechanism.

but entering the healing there doesn't say if its magical healing or not, nor when you do damage to someone/thing else (depending which achievement going for)

That was my thought as well. Most of the achievement feat tracked events are things that are not in any way tracked in Hero Lab - having sort of partial and inconsistent support for a couple of them, and nothing for the rest, in my mind, is worse than having none of them tracked.

Isn't one of the standard Adjustments a Generic Tracker you can add to any character? Then that would give you a counter (on the In-Play tab) that you could increase to keep track of HP or kills or whatever. Why wouldn't that work?
