Today I wanted to create a grell for my campaign. It is an old 3.0 / 3.5 Monster, I think from 'Lords of Madness: The Book of Aberrations'.
It might not have an open game license which is why I wanted to create / imitate it myself. I wanted to try the easy way first, go to custom monster creation and choose the rest like 'type' 'HD' etc. But I cannot even choose 'aberration' as type. Why is that? Is that certain type not available for custom monster creation? Do I have to create a brand new monster race in the editor? Which I'd like to avoid ... EDIT: currently available in the background - create bestiary monster creation section: Animal - Magical Beast - Ooze - Outsider - Vermin Thx 4 ur help Last edited by driZzt; June 27th, 2013 at 04:02 AM. |

Just Tried this and the first option is "Aberration". Its a base monster type so it would be really really strange for it to be missing.

Looks like a bug that happens if you own the Bestiary, but not the ARG. I'll add that to the to-do list, thanks for reporting it.

There's a stickied thread at the top of this forum with a link to our bug tracking system. In the future, I'd appreciate it if you could report bugs there, rather than in individual threads. That I happened across this thread soon after it was posted is unusual, and its usually easier to keep the bugs organized if they're all reported directly to the tracker.
