AntiHero

Currently if you disable hero points for the bonus feat in configure hero, and save, then reopen you have to recheck the disable box everytime for the bonus feat. Anyway to make it so it saves that setting to the character .por?

Thassilonian Specialist isnt allowing 2 specialized slots per spell level (both having to be same spell for each spell level). Also it would be nice if it said what the Prohibited schools were in reminder text somewhere under the description, and if it showed up on the class. :)

There is a Set Defaults button on that page. Just select the sources you want, select Set Default and then anytime you create a character it wil use that settings.

I just tried creating a new blank character. I turned on the Hero Point rules, then checked the anti-hero box, and closed the configure hero form. The character did have the 1 feat from antihero and no other feat slots, and I saved that character. I then started a new character, then loaded the saved character. He still had the one feat slot from antihero.

Are there any other steps I should go through to try to reproduce your error, because I cannot currently replicate it.

I don't think so, I just check the Don't use hero point box in the configure hero window under starting gold, and it grants a bonus feat but defaults to unchecked regardless if i save or not, and I also tried setting defaults of course. Should it actually say Antihero? Maybe I need to reinstall or something? I have APG enabled, Hero Points are enabled, and I have herolab 3.8 and Pathfinder 6.9 installed. I don't have any user content enabled that messes with hero points, so I am at a loss here. I guess I will reinstall and see if that helps.

Wait - is this not about the value changing when you reopen a saved portfolio, but about whether you can control whether that checkbox starts checked or unchecked when you create a new character?

There's not an option for users to change the default setting for that - that checkbox is not within the Configure Hero Settings section (the right hand side), so it is not one of the things covered by the defaults for that section.

Right, I just tried it to see if it would work. It isn't saving in a portfolio either though. I check it, save, reopen, and it isn't checked, and I need to recheck to account for the feat.

It appears that if you check the Advanced Hero Points rule in the configure hero Change Settings window, then set that as default settings, that it won't reload the portfolios with the antihero option enabled after you have saved it. So it appears that I'd have to manually check the Advanced Hero Points rule each time for each character to avoid this.

Are you talking about the fact that once you set the defaults on the configure hero settings window, those aren't retro-actively applied to characters you created before setting those defaults? That's intentional - people who play in both a home game and in organized play, or in two separate home games might want very different settings for different characters, so we don't want them to have to change lots of settings every time they re-open a character.

No, sorry I will try to explain it better.
Here is what I did.
1. I made a new portfolio.
2. I enabled Hero Points under The Advanced Players Guide in hero settings.
3. The Disable Hero Points Box is now there above starting gold to the left of the hero settings box in the configure hero window.
4. I check that box to disable hero points for that character to take another feat.
5. I save the portfolio.
6. It will reload the same portfolio fine, and keep the antihero box checked, UNLESS I set the defaults to have hero points enabled under the APG section in the hero settings, It will NOT open the portfolio with the antihero box checked, and I have to manually recheck the disable hero points box to enable the extra feat unless I use default game settings.

So something about making Hero Points enabled in the default settings overrides the check box to disable them per character for the extra feat.

Thank you for the detailed set of steps - that allowed me to reproduce the error, so it should be fixed in the next update. Thanks for reporting this.

Just noticed the Wraith does not have the correct attack. It should be:

incorporeal touch +6 (1d6 negative energy plus 1d6 Con drain)

The CON drain is shown correctly in Specials, but the negative energy portion of the attack is not mentioned anywhere. Instead, the ever-present unarmed strike is shown.

When you have the Master of Many Styles Archtype for a Monk and you are choosing your bonus feats in the Monk tab the dialog is not restricting the styles to the ones in sequence.

Example if I have Crane Style, Boar Style, and Boar Ferocity bonus feats I should see:

Boar Shread (because I have both Boar Ferocity and Boar Style)
Crane Wing (because I have Crane Style)
Djinni Style
Dragon Style
Earth Child Style
etc...

I should not see:

Crane Riposte (because I don't have the prerequisite Crane Wing)
Djinni Spirit (because I don't have Djinni Style)
Djinni Spin (because I don't have Djinni Spirit)
Dragon Roar (because I don't have Dragon Style)
etc...

Unlike normal Monk bonus feats from other Archtypes a Master of Many Styles requires that you have the prerequisite bonus feat in each tree.

PFSRD said:
At 1st level, 2nd level, and every four levels thereafter, a master of many styles may select a bonus style feat or the Elemental Fist feat. He does not have to meet the prerequisites of that feat, except the Elemental Fist feat. Alternatively, a master of many styles may choose a feat in that style’s feat path (such as Earth Child Topple) as one of these bonus feats if he already has the appropriate style feat (such as Earth Child Style). The master of many styles does not need to meet any other prerequisite of the feat in the style’s feat path.

Synthesist Summoner Archtype still giving eidelons feats and skills

They shouldn't have stuff like that. Any chance of getting an Inplay tab to reflect what happens when they're fused as one. The fused button only adds the shield bonus to the character, it doesn't actually move the armor/natural/dex/str/con stats onto the player.

I don't like the class, I'm only trying to keep one of my players straight.

wounding still has the wrong information. It's one bleed per hit that stacks, not one con damage, that was 3.5; but it's been listed that way in every pathfinder release to date.

When a Sorcerer's list of spells known becomes long enough to require a scrollbar, the "Create Favorite Metamagic Spells" section is pushed off the bottom of the screen and becomes inaccessible. The same may be true of other class tabs, but I have only noticed it on the Sorcerer.

I've created a custom armor (that includes ghost touch) - this is not reflected properly in my PCs stat block for touch attack.

How can I create a custom ring (such that a single ring grants a +2 deflection bonus and a STR modifer)?

I have a shield that grants cold and fire resistance - the fire resistance is reflected in the PC PDF output, the cold resistance is not.

If this is in the wrong thread/forum please let me know.

:)

My software/data files should be updated as of today (11/25)

Also - is there an option to output a 'spellbook' - I'd like to output a list of all possible paladin spells my PC has (to have at the table)

The only way I found to do this is to prepare every spell, ignoring the validation rules. Then you can print the spells. I have all the supplements. It's a long list for a high level paladin. I would consider printing out the spells he is most likely to use instead of all of them.
