Pathfinder Bug Reports - Version 4.8

I don't have the Rise of the Rune Lords Adventure Paths (My GM Does but I'll see if I can get a copy.). But I have noticed in Hero Labs under Magic Items there is two different spellings of Sihidron (sp). I'm not 100% sure how to spell it myself lol. But thought I'd mention it. It has to do with the Ring and Amulet.

Also the Discriptions of the Rune Enhancements for Weapons seem to be a bit off.

Again I'll get a copy of these so I can give exact details.

Got the Info! :)

Runeforged Weapons. It's enchantments for Rise of the Rune Lords and in Hero Lab.

In the Description (HL) of all of them it says it gives you a -2 on DiploArmorArcFly. Should say just diplomacy. It appears to correctly function as a minus to diplomacy and nothing else.

I noticed on the description for "Share Spells with Familiar" it says that any spell cast on the master may also affect the familiar. However, in PF, that is not how this works any more. Share spells only lets you cast a spell with the target of you on your familiar but a single casting does not affect both.

For example, if I wanted to be cast shield on myself, I could, but my familiar would not have it. If the following round, I cast it on my familiar, we would both have it. However, it would take two castings and in this case two rounds to do so.

Not as cool as it was in 3.5. I just wanted to bring that to your attention as a possible fix.

Make sure you have it set to show everything and not just show what the character is eligible for. I get nailed by this one everytime.

I did, the City Born feat is not there.
I also activated Rise of the Runelords package where the feat first appeared.

EDIT: mea culpa, they're feats, not traits!

Mathias. I was reading the following FAQ on Paizo (http://paizo.com/store/downloads/pathfinder/pathfinderRPG/v5748btpy8fo1/faq#v5748eaic9nd9)

It says other classes that get Domains can use the Subdomains. Can this function be put into Hero Labs too ?

Please skim through the current bug reports thread before posting a new report - this question was asked and answered already in this thread. There's also a search function available for the entire forum, slightly down from the top on the right-hand side of the webpage.

I can't find where to access the Variant Class Abilities for the pre-existing core classes. For instance, how do I create an Urban Ranger or Weapon Master?

Thanks so much for the great application.

Heirloom Weapon Trait

I've selected the trait Heirloom Weapon. The first dropdown allows me to select a weapon (I chose Falchion), but the second dropdown list is empty.

Also, the Feats tab remains red to show me that my selections are incomplete.

After taking the trait you need to add your MW Falchion to your character paying only the normal cost of the Falchion. When you do that the 2nd drop down box will allow you to select the MW Falchion as your Heirloom weapon and will apply the +1 trait bonus to hit. So until you do this last step HL is reminding you to do it.

Thanks, but the only masterwork weapons are "Masterwork Cold Iron Longsword" and "Silver Dagger, Masterwork".

Am I looking in the wrong place? Because it doesn't seem like either weapon lists on the weapons tab give an option for choosing Masterwork variations of weapons.

When you go to add a Custom weapon the first option is Custom Magic or something like that(ie this will be in the same list that shows Masterwork Cold Iron Longsword). Take Custom and that opens up a NEW window that lets you build a completely custom weapon. In this case you just want to select Falachion and mark it as Masterwork. But later you can use this same feature to upgrade to +1 or +1 with Flaming or many other Item Powers.

Hey Shadow, do you know anything about the variant class abilities from APG? Will I need to create the content myself, or is it something that's in the works? Or am I just missing where it is, heheh.

Thanks for the help.

For the Unwitting Ally bug, we've figured out what's causing it, but fixing it is going to take some time, I'm sorry to say - the problem is in the way the HL engine handles automatically added things. Thank you to those who sent a portfolio to help us test the bug (as I mentioned, the bug doesn't exist on new portfolios, only ones that were created before v4.7).

Colen gives this set of steps to permanently remove it from an existing portfolio:

Here's a fix that users can do to get rid of it from individual rosters...

* Load the roster, then in the editor, create a thing (any thing - I
just added an ability because that was the first tab I saw) that
replaces spUnwiAll0 - the Unwitting Ally spell.

* Click "Test Now" and HL tells you you have to reload - once you
reload, the spell should be gone (and you might get an error message,
but just ignore it).

* Make any change to the roster, save it (this is important), then
delete the ability you just created in the editor. Save the file in the
editor and reload the game again.

* The spell should now be gone.

I am sorry that we can't fix this one immediately, and that the workaround is a bit of a hassle.

I have a Cleric who worships Erastil. When trying to use the Azata Sub-Domain it tells me it's not an available option even though It should be.

Doh Sorry. Usually I tend to read all the messages and do searches but missed this one. Sorry for the repost ;)

I don't think this is new to this version, but a search didn't show it reported anywhere: the Wholeness of Body ability for monks is backwards- should be 2 ki points for 1 HP/level instead of 1 ki point for 2 HP/level.
