Pathfinder Bug Reports - Version 4.15

I noticed that there is no adjustment for Damage reduction DR/- I am not quite sure if this is a bug but I figured I would ask about this any ways or bring it up. Since the Barbarian has it at certain levels.

Not a bug as they where just never added. I added these for my home games and was going to release it as a community add-on, but maybe Mathais would like them to add officially? Either way is totally fine with me.

I don't have every DR type done yet, but I do have all the major types (ie Magic, Slashing, Evil,...). The adjustments can even override the DR value set by a monster race so that it can be modified or changed to a totally different type of DR.

I also have adjustments now to set the Crit Range of weapons(19-20,18-20,17-20..), add information about any CMD/CMB bonuses to a specific weapon, change the Crit Value(ie x2,x3) and can add information like +1d6 Fire, Cold, Acid, Electricity to a weapon.

Ahh I thought that those were official. hehe :)

That would be cool if they were made official though. I would love to have the crit adjustments and weapon enhancements add on too :)

Adjustments for DRs, Energy Resistances, Other movement type (climb, swim, fly), and SR are all things I want to add - what I'll be doing is bootstrapping all the base specials to all characters, then letting the adjustments select from among them. I'm just so busy right now dealing with the campaign setting material, the inner sea primer, the bestiary 2 and Shadowrun that I haven't had time to implement this yet.

Yep totally understandable I was just wondering if you wanted what I had before I released an Add-On for the community is all. Part of what I need to do is make sure I don't run into any adjustment Duplicate Thing errors again, like what happened with the old adjustment file, if you plan to release similar stuff officially in the future then. Also an easy to turn off source would be helpful too I think.

Thanks Mathias.

Both the Lion & Tiger Animal Companions are listed as Medium but with 10' space size - should be 5' space.

Looks like leftovers from the Bestiary Animals, which are both Large & take 10' space.

Fixed in the next update, thanks for the report.

Class Special Recklessness (for Chevalier PrC out of Pathfinder Adventure Paths) doesn't actually adjust attack/damage values (granted via morale bonus) when activated on in-play tab. Timing issue maybe? (Set to Pre-Levels for ability that grants bonus based on # of levels in PrC)

Fixed in the next update, thanks for the report.

(you;re correct in your diagnosis - it needed to be between Post-Levels/1000 and Post-Levels/9000 in order to pick up the level of the class and apply its effects before damage was calculated. I think this ability wasn't really checked in the SRD-PRD conversion - back in the SRD, the Post-Levels timing requirement wasn't as critical.)

Have created a sorcerer and just leveled up to 7th level. Tried to add the Arcane Bonus feat "Improved Initiative", however it is nowhere to be found. Umm, what's up with that? All of the rest are there.

Fixed in the next update, thanks for the report.

Even after updating to 4.15, I still get the message across the top of my HeroLab PC page that he has 85,000+ gp of gear. That is not accurate. Apparently it granted me 5 sets of 50 +1 Flaming arrows. I have gone through and tried to delete and reacquire just 5 each of the +1 Flaming arrows to no avail.:D

No, I did not have the time available to correct this bug for the last update, and I'm still pressed for time and won't be able to get it into the next update, either.

Gnome racial Pyromaniac.

It is not giving the bonus spells for having a charisma of 11 or greater. I do not know if this is part of the bomb damage increase that is not implemented yet or not.

Fixed in the next update, thanks for the report.

Gamemastery guide typo.

The drug Flayleaf is spelled Drug, Flyayleaf in the gear section when you have the Gamemastery Guide checked for inclusion for the data files.

On risner's suggestion I transferred the HH from the horse to the PC and started adding things in it. It does not affect the total encumbrance but it also does not change the speed as having those items not in a backpack which was my initial complaint, the effect it had on the PC's speed. Thanks for the suggestions and helping correct a misinterpretation.

I apologize, I don't understand what you're saying about the PC's speed, could you please rephrase your question if you still have a problem you need me to address?

Cavalier calculations missing

Hello,
I have been playing a lvl 10 Gnome Cavalier (Order of the Sword) with a Wolf mount and have encountered some bugs/missing calculations. All of these apply to when I have checked off "Charging" and "Mounted (bonded mount)."

  • +2 to hit while charging - Should be +4 as per Cavalier's Charge APG 33
  • -2 AC penalty while charging - Should be no penalty as per Cavalier's Charge APG 33
  • No Mount STR bonus added to damage - Mount's STR bonus shold be added to damage roll as per Order of the Sword's Mounted Mastery APG 37

I don't think I have misinterpreted any of these rules. I hope this helps. Keep up the good work!:)

I have not gotten the chance to implement the effects of either of these abilities. They're on my to-do list. Sorry about this.

Mathias, my comment about a PC's speed in regard to his encumbrance was based on personal experience. Let me try to explain. My current PC in Kingmaker was having problems with being able to move 20 feet instead of his base 30 feet because of his STR score. He had to transfer most of his gear to a pack animal to keep his speed up. Then when I got the Handy Haversack I only noticed that his encumbrance did not change but forgot to look at his speed. Now I see that the total weight of his equipment doesn't change with a HH but his speed is not hampered by what is in the HH. So no I don't have a problem now. Thanks for attempting to correct an apparent problem that is actually nonexistent.
