I apologize if this has already been told, but I wonder if Realmworks will be made available on the Macintosh computer platform.
I understand that it will run on Ipads.

Not initially. But the plan is to make Realm Works available on the Mac as well at some point *after* we get the Windows version out. Exactly how long that will take is a complete unknown at this point. We first need to get the Windows version developed.![]()
Can you give us an idea on when development for mac might start?
Can anyone confirm if it runs under Linux yet?
Ok, if I get the software on Windows, when a Mac version comes will everything transfer over? I didn't mess with Herolab until after the Mac version came out, so I'm just making sure.
Rob, you mentioned that you guys tried it (Wine) at one point, but it had .NET 4 failures. Do you know if it was before or after May of 2012? Because in May of 2012, the Wine development team put in a bunch of .NET 4 stuff.
FWIW when im given Beta access, i plan to try linux, Parallels and windows (Im one of the "howlers") ill update people.

Jenks, you should consider running parralels on your mac. yes its a VM, but it runs in coherence mode so that the "windows" applications run on your mac as if normal programs. i do it all the time.... i still have to for my work VPN, and until the Mac hero lab i was doing that. i know its not as good as native, but you arent forced to have a vm window like vmware. its pretty decent. you just have to be willing to give some hard drive space to the underlying OS.
One can dream
Perhaps a lucky beta tester could try this out, or would that be against the NDA?
Hi,
I found the forums after stumbling upon the Kickstarter campaign. I saw the Kickstarter notes indicating that, as of the last time someone checked, Realm Works doesn't work under WINE on Linux due to lack of support for the .Net 4.0 framework, but this might be changing as 4.0 becomes supported?
Any beta testers out there who can confirm this one way or another? I only run Linux and would love to back the project, but if I can't run it, I can't support the project.
Do you mean a solid wine program? Or realmsworks already encapsulated with Wine?If you can point me in the direction of a solid WINE installation, I can give it a shot and let you know how it goes.
