these are common magic items and have nothing to do with the empire file. so i cant update them for u. its a seperate file which u can find yourselves in the data folder but nothing i can do relating to the empire file which helps

Sorry if these are covered elsewhere, I'd appreciate any help with a couple of questions.

Could anyone please tell me the proceedure here? As an Empire player I'm looking forward to the new books data file showing up as an update in my AB3.1. I see that here on these forums there is a file being discussed for bugs etc. Am I right in thinking that a file will be discussed for bugs here and then when ready and in good shape will be hosted as an update that shows up in AB?

These forums show a board for WFB 6th edition, but we are well into 7th nowadays so should that be changed? or is there somewhere else I should look for discussion of 7th.

I can answer your first question by quoting what I said earlier in this thread:

Thanks for the help. It seems that even though a chap here is doing a great job on sorting out a file for testing, it's clearly still got a number of points cost problems so I'd rather wait for the finished update to appear on automatic updates. It does seem to be taking an awful long time though. I'm sure that with AB2 the updates used to arrive pretty quickly. Does anyone have an ETA for the completed file?

I would just like to say good work apollo0681 as an iterim fix this is great work thanks for your time and effort. There are some things that need to be fixed (common magic items) but good work none the less. I had started to look into doing this previously also but didn't have the time to do it. So thanks again.

i wouldnt get 2 excited about the OFFICAL update as judging by the amount of bugs with the orcs and goblins file from the last update there will probably be more problems in the offical update than in mine

just noticed something, White wolves do not carry shields,the entry for ww inner circle gives them as default giving them +1 save. should be +2

another thing. the data file is still complaining about multiple units of knights of the white wolf. I'm trying to figure out how to fix that myself right now.
 
Is the link for the download that is dated December 20 the updated link? Is that the only one to download for the latest improvements? BTW Apollo0681, wonderful job here! I really appreciate it!

Another question, after I copy the download into my folder: ArmyBuilderEX\data\wh6 is there anything I need to do to "activate" it, or do I just start the program and it will automatically see and incorporate the changes?
 
Couple things I found

First off, awesome job!

I found that when you selected Kurt Helburg the unit name popped up as Luthor Huss, this was an easy fix

Next I found that no matter which statetroop you added a detachment of archers to you can not add more than 1 less than half of the parent unit without triggering an alarm/error. I have been trying to find this error but have not been able to find where this is. All the other detachments seem to work properly though.

I have been going over my new O&G book and the first thing i noticed was the prices for common magic items, as i have only just gotten Army Builder v.3.1c, i still a bit stumped when it comes to editing the files :s

Again thanks to all who have put in they effort!!

no thats the oldest one there are 3 u need to download which has orcs/empire and all the common magic item fixes they are name 1of3 2of3 and 3of3 it wont work f u just download 1 u have to download all 3!!!!!!

i cant seem to find why its doing this either so cant help im afraid

latest empire update.
it will only work if u have download the 3 other files i put up last month1of3 2of3 and3of3 which were the empire file/orc and goblin and generic updates.
if u havent downloaded these and have only download one of the older empire updates then im about 99.9% sure this wont work.

sorry couldnt fix the archer/detachment problem maybe someone will tell me how and i can do it for the next update

and i just noticed i didnt fix the white wolf 1+ save will put that on the next update also

One bug I found:
Steel Standart is now 20 points, not 25 points.
 
found another bug, flagellants unit size should be a max of 30 units, but when you bring the unit size to 30 its say unit too large.
