New Empire army update

Well, I guess it's that when the "authorized" data file authors (robert and maybe some others) have updated the data file they can make it appear in the AB automatic updates. Here we however have another great chap who took the iniative to make an Empire update for the Warhammer data file. I don't know when an update appears in AB automatic updates, but if you want the Empire part of the data file updated, then you can just download it from here. If you're worried about errors etc you can always double check things if they are correct according to the book. If you find errors then post them here. If you thought of waiting for an "error free" version to come up in the automatic updates then you could instead consider downloading it from here because not even the ones that come with automatic updates are perfectly accurate. I am not an Empire player so I haven't studied this update, but I do think that apollo0681 has done a good job since he has dared to upload it here :)

Hi Great job on this update.
Have noticed these bugs
1. Flagellants only have 1 attack as standard because they are classed as frenzied, giving them a +1 automatically, which they never loose even if beaten.
2. I have read through the rule book, and it seems that there is no rule excluding charcters from joining flagellant units.
3. First Knights now called Preceptors.
4. Knights of the White Wolf Inner Circle are coming up as core rather than special choices.

yeah but the 100points is included in the 350 start price for him so its only 30 to upgrade

The Empire are stronger than ever I think

no probs seem to have most the errors fixed just needs someone to tidy the file up a bit and fix the couple of things i couldnt manage detachments etc

The restriction is in the main rules now. Pg 79, Unbreakable units can only have Unbreakable characters join them and vice versa.

OK found it - makes sense, knew it had to be there somewhere.
 
Really good job. Where are the options for the Pigeon Bombs?

Also, shouldn't the "Elector Count" now be called the "General of the Empire"?

hi cheers for that have changed the elector counts name and changed a couple of magic item desciptions but im afraid the pigeon bombs is a bit out of my league.

would be nice if someone could get in contact with me about updating the detachments options and how to make pigeon bombs. im happy to put the work in to finsh this file if someone can point me in the direction how.

Would be nice to get this file correct before all u guys start getting bashed for not releasing a proper update quickly like with the orcs and goblins book

for anyone who doesnt relise this which theres seem to be a few u dont need to download all the updates just the latest one
as at least 20 people have downloaded the first update since i put the 4th one up for download
 
Master Engineers shouldn't be able to take magic items. Also I couldn't find an option for pidgeon bombs.

Warrior Priest - Would be nice if there was an option to list his prayers.

War Altar - It doesn't cause Terror. Neither the 4+ ward save or MR2 are listed. Not listed as a chariot (should add to character's save, impact hits). Needs 2 war horses. Would be nice if it had the option to list the Light spells.

Knights of the White Wolf don't cost 25 points each. They should be the same cost as regular knights (only 23 each).
Making Knights Inner Circle doesn't seem to make them Special Choices.

Crossbowmen are now state troops. (Need detachment options.)

Steam Tank has the wrong display price, but is correctly priced when you select it.

Huntsmen no longer have longbows.
