Is there a plan to bring Starfinder to our HLC.

I'm currently playing in a Dungeon(2nd level basement apartment). We can't connect with phones or Hotspots. so HLO was freaking useless.

From the HLO FAQ:
Q: Will Hero Lab Classic support Starfinder.
A: Starfinder is a unique system with various aspects that are much better suited to Hero Lab Online. Consequently, we will not be offering Starfinder in Hero Lab Classic, at least initially, as it wouldn’t be as powerful or enjoyable to use.

In other words, this is a job for the coding community.

Could just be me, but I'm thinking doing a full-blown HLC port for Starfinder is liable to be too big a job for anyone in the amateur end of the HL community to bite off by themselves. Like its parent, too many moving parts and too much overly specific content.

It's also quite possible that it might result in a C&D order from Lone Wolf as they're depending on Starfinder to make people buy their product.

I appreciate that you are implying I am not an amateur when it comes to hero lab's source code. Maybe you're right in that considering I was able to get World of Darkness 20th anniversary built in a month and am just expanding on the base structure now to add in supplements. I could probably build it myself, one thing to keep in mind, if someone intends to Share their work, you cannot do the full game system. You can only work within the context of the System Reference Document. Starfinder is a much lighter system than Pathfinder 1e was (it is comparable to 5e D&D). Not saying it won't be work to do, but it could be done within the confines of the SRD if someone was dedicated to doing the work. The trick is NOT adding the data as you go. What I would do is to just focus on building the components and sample "things" that mimic what's needed just for the purpose of testing the file. Let the coding community do the actual data entry and focus on building the structure file... that would take very little actual time to finish the system.

Again though, I wouldn't add the data, I'd leave that for the people here on the forums to deal with. You just need someone to do the source code for the structure file. Build just enough so that you can test the source code, let others deal with the data entry. I don't own the books or pdfs so I would have to use the SRD online document to do it. But I think anyone can do it with enough dedication. It's not rocket science.

To make it clear, it was the degree of bits and pieces that I thought would be prohibitive. I'm sure someone competent with the Authoring Kit such as yourself could handle the basics well; its adding in the million exception-based bits that would probably more of a job than one or even a small handful of people doing it in their spare time seemed to exceed.

I could do the work based on what I know, and the bits of source code I have access to from the other projects I did. But there is a huge difference between implementing the full game system (i.e. what is in the books) and the SRD material... the SRD could implemented quite quickly by a dedicated effort. In fact, the basic structure file for the skeleton file would be mostly usable. You'd just have to make a few modifications and it would give you the basic file needed. Pathfinder is much more complicated than Starfinder. Some things were simplified, and I have found that Starfinder has more in common with 5e than it does with Pathfinder.
