Thanks for confirming that CV works under the emulators!
You're correct that a Mac version is definitely possible. The real question
is one of practicality. My guess is that rewriting the UI for the Mac would
take a good Mac developer a solid 6-8 months, plus a couple months for
porting the engine code (which is relatively portable), plus reasonable
testing time after that. So my guess is close to a year's work. There are a
total of four of us here, with only two developers, so we don't exactly
have lots of spare resources.

Quite the contrary, as we're spread quite
thin and not able to do all the things we'd like as quickly as we'd like.
Another option would be to contract the project out, but the investment of
paying someone for nearly a full year of development needs to be justified
with sufficient projected revenues over a reasonable timeframe. CV is still
in its infancy as a product (with a big leap once V1.1 comes out), so its
definitely premature to be going down that path for a Mac version.
Once CV has reached a critical mass user base under Windows, we can start
to look at the possibility of writing a native Mac version. In the interim,
a substantial percentage of Mac users that are gamers also have a PC or use
an emulator in order to run their favorite PC games, so that will have to
serve as the short-term solution.
I definitely appreciate the offer to help out, but we're not yet at a point
where it makes sense to pursue a native Mac version.
Thanks, Rob
