I've submitted a bug about Verminous Hunter companions having no Int and retaining the Mindless trait.
While waiting for this to be fixed, I'd like to customize giant scorpion or vermin companions to remove the NoScore tag for its Int, but I'm having trouble with it. (I tried to make an adjustment, but the NoScore tag for the Int is apparently overriding any overrides.)
I found this idea for creating an archetype to allow a customized Paladin, and I figured I'd create something like that and select it for my vermin companion.
What I'm not sure how to do is create a feature that supersedes an existing feature. In this case, it would be superseding a tag on an animal companion class. Or maybe there's some other way to do this.
Edit: I found a way to restore the Int score using the Ability Score (Restore) adjustment. I'd still like to know how to customize a workaround, though.
