I'm trying to figure out how to create the Guardian of the Tower from Carrion Crown Trial of the Beast. It's a combination girallion and flesh golem. Does anyone know how to make it and tell me how to do it? Or already made it and send me the file?

Unfortunately, the link only includes the NEW extra monsters at the back of the module. I wish they included the unusual ones that are a mix of two or more monsters like the girallion-flesh golem. Are there any more suggestions? Please.
 
So its true that looks like not all the creatures/NPCs from Carrion Crown where finished.

But using the adjustments that are part of the Community Bestiary I just made this creature without having to use the editor. Took about 2 minutes of work to make the changes to the base Flesh Golem. :)

Thank you ShadowChemosh. I didn't see the four attacks at first but now I see it and the attached file. Can you explain to me how you got the extra two attacks? I couldn't figure out how to do that with the flesh golem. I know enough about HL to create my characters as a player and minor stuff as a DM but this was beyond my grap of the program.

Sure everything I did used Adjustments on the "Adjust" tab and required NO scripting or using the Editor.

The first step is to add my "Adjustments" addon that adds lots of extra and useful adjustments. This is also included in the "Community Bestiary".

Once installed restart HL and on the Configure Hero Window turn on "ShadowChemosh's Adjustments". Then go to the "Adjust" tab and click on the "Other Adjustments".

In this case I added the following:
-Natural Weapon: Claw (add this one twice).
--Select the claws and set the counter to -1 so that we change the claw attacks to be 1d4 instead of 1d6.
-Weapon Hide on Print Out
--Select "Slam x2" attack. We can't remove the slams but we can prevent them from printing.
-Armor Class (Natural)
--Set to +2 to give a +2 bonus to the Natural Armor.
-Speed, Special
--Select Climbing and set the counter to 30ft.

Then I changed the ability scores on the "Abilities" tab to match the book.

Thats all I did and then told HL to generate the stat block.
 
Thank you ShadowChemosh. I think I've figure it out, but will it work on creating The Aberrant-Promethean on page 60? I've been trying to go through the adjustments and I've found constrict but not the other special attacks. Did I miss something?

Natural Weapon: Claw

My computer recently crashed and I had to get a new hard drive installed. As a result I had to re-install everything including Hero Lab. When I opened hero lab I get an error message that I'm still trying to figure out (see below). In addition, I'm getting error messages when I open other files including "Guardian of the Tower." Within Guardian I don't have the option of "Natural Weapon: Claw" under "Other Adjustments." Is this due to the long list of error messages or due to the Lone Wolf being upgraded? I pasted the error messages below.

When I open Pathfinder in Hero Lab:

The data files could not be loaded due to errors. Hero Lab will now attempt to load them in recovery mode. Once loaded, you can access the editor as normal to correct any errors.
The following errors occurred:

This is the important error messages as once this happens HL has gone into safe mode and will NO longer load any .user files. So opening up any .por files is pointless as your missing allot of information.

AddSkillsProfessions.user, Hollow's_Last_Hope.user do not sound like community files. I am not near HL so not 100% sure until I check later.

PFRPG_AP_KingMaker_SwordScion_wl.user - This is a file I support from d20pfsrd. I have not double checked it in a long time so maybe something in the latest update broke it. I can try and take a look tonight when I get home.
 
ShadowChemosh, I didn't know that HL went into safe mode. That's good to know. So I need to ignore all of the error messages from opening files and concentrate on figuring out the error message when I open Pathfinder. Any help you can offer will be gratefully appreciated. Thanks.

The only way I can get this to happen is if I try and put "PFRPG_AP_KingMaker_SwordScion_wl.user" and "PFRPG_AP_KingMaker_SwordScion.user" in at the same time. These are meant to be used separately NOT together. "PFRPG_AP_KingMaker_SwordScion_wl.user" works with the official version of the "Dueling Sword" where "PFRPG_AP_KingMaker_SwordScion.user" is meant to work with the "Dueling Sword" from the Adventure's Armory available on d20pfsrd.

So you need to remove one of these files.

File: AddSkillsProfessions.user (line 32) - Thing - Duplicate record encountered ('skProfFort')
So the skill "Profession (fortune-teller)" was officially added to HL so this is causing issues. I have fixed the file and you can download the fixed version HERE.

File: Hollow's_Last_Hope.user (line 3) - Thing - Duplicate record encountered ('rTatzlwyrm')
Sorry I can't find any reference in the Community Repository for this file. As Bodrin said though if it was officially added in B3 then that would explain why your getting this duplicate thing error.

My advice is to open the file in the editor and find this monster on the "Race" tab. Then change the Unique ID from "rTatzlwyrm" to say "rTatzlwyr" removing the "M" from the end. That way it won't have issues with a duplicate Thing ID.

Thanks, ShadowChemosh, you are great. I'll give it a try and let you know how it works. It might be a couple of days because I have to take my laptop to Geek Squad (spilled water on it 8-O ).
