Avoiding "too common" linkage

What are the best practices of avoided language that would is often used in different ways?

For example, I have a "Light" section in the mechanics which talks about different light sources and how it affects game play. However, now whenever "light" is mentioned (and it gets mentioned a lot) it wants to link to the light article. You also have the Light spell which adds confusion to the mix.

To prevent this, my spell article is now called "Light (spell)" and I'm thinking of making my mechanics article "Light (illumination)".

Just curious if anyone had other ways to go about it that are working particularly well.

On the "Manage Names" dialog (Ctrl+Alt+A). you can set a "Priority" for linking each name assigned to the Topic (even if there is only one). This can also be "Never", to never auto-link that Topic. "Avoid" pushes it down in the list of selections, while "Prefer" pushes it up.

You can also adjust case-sensitivity from the default "Ignored" to "Sensitive" or "Auto-Correct".

When I raised a similar question previously, the devs suggested using square brackets in the name to make a common term less likely to be matched. I am not sure this is valid, as I see a lot of punctuation being ignored in the matching anyway.

Silveras,

Tried that key combo and nothing happened... do I need to be somewhere in particular to activate it?

Why do I even bother doing things from memory? :o
One of the reasons most of my posts take forever and still get repetitively edited is me making sure everything is correct and said in a way I think will be interpreted as I intended. It's mentally exhausting to me. :(

I already made a feature request to get some bulk functionality in here as well. As we often have some topics we want to reuse and maybe only link with certain other topics ( if at all) . I hope they add this.
