Any recent updates on the progress of Content Market

It is complete but there have been a lot of little wrinkles to work out. Rob and team have been locked away in their cave making progress with the fixes and integrating the next steps needed for the Content Market, but rest assured work is moving forward. My apologies for not being on top of this the last week or so, we had a family death and I was focused on family for much of the time.

My condolences, never need to apologize for things of this nature. Hope all is as well as can be.

Condolences, BJ, for your loss. Thank you for your help and updates.

Thanks, everyone.

For those of you waiting on a Realm Works update, I’m pleased to announce that we’ve finally passed a critical milestone with the Paizo integration thanks to their aid. Having done so, we’re now working hard to get everything properly tested and into place for the launch of the Content Market. While we can’t make any guarantees, we’re hopeful we’ll have good news for everyone in the very near future.

Happy gaming!

SO... the last update from the LW folks was on the 8th (18 days and counting), citing no promises but hopefully good news "in the very near future." Since then there's been a whole thread about how the promised weekly updates aren't coming in weekly.

I know... damned if you do, damned if you don't. Everyone was clamoring for updates even if there was no new news, just so we know we're not forgotten, and then in the other thread folks were condemning you for updates with no news.

Know that I'm rooting for you, LWD! I'm a long time customer and supporter, and I want you to keep the momentum toward restoring goodwill that your updates have started!

So what's going on? Anything? What are you working on and are you making progress? Any bugs squashed? Content market stuff to report? Razor Coast stuff to report?

The RW team has just been fixated on trying to get everything in place for the launch. Devs get buried in working long hours and don't think to post updates and I took some much needed personal time as I hadn't had a real vacation since I started. The important thing is that work has been ongoing and Realm Works has been our primary focus.

As I said in the other thread, nothing groundbreaking to report. We're working closely with Paizo to resolve last-minute glitches in the API in order to hopefully ensure everything goes smoothly for Content Market launch. The Realm Works team is also reviewing content and making sure everything is as polished as it can be while we wait.

It's time to check your Realm Works accounts for new goodies!

Everyone at the Wolflair has been hard at work ensuring the many kinks and bugs are worked through to bring you the Content Market and we’re happy to say we’re finally reaching the end. The content below has been delivered to backers and barring complications, which we've learned are always possible, we hope to have the Content Market itself available within a week.

Pack Members & Up
· Have been issued Creature Components for Pathfinder by Playground Adventures.
· Have been issued Creature Components for 5th Edition by Playground Adventures.

Pack Hunters & Up
· Have been issued Pirate’s Guide to Freeport for Pathfinder.
· Have been issued The Freeport Companion.

Timber Wolf & Up
· Have been issued Razor Coast.
· Have been issued The Grande Temple of Jing.

Those of you awaiting Blight replacements and server time extensions, we will be providing those at Market launch.

Many thanks to all of you who have patiently waited for your items and supported us along the way.

Happy Gaming!

This is great! Glad to have these! Looking forward to messing with them all. :D

One question: Why is the Pirate's Guide to Freeport tied to Pathfinder? The original sourcebook is system-independent. I was planning on using it in my current D&D 5e campaign, but looks like that's not going to be an option? :(

(And my apologies if this isn't the proper place for this question! :o)

Our Freeport material consists of two separate books: the Pirate's Guide and the Companion for Pathfinder. The latter is obviously Pathfinder-specific, so we tied both books to the Pathfinder game system to make life simple for users wanting to leverage the pair together. If you want to run the setting for D&D5e, that's easily done. Simply import the setting book into an existing D&D5e realm or import it into a new realm and convert the realm's game system choice to D&D5e. You've now got Freeport ready to go for D&D5e!

Thanks, BJ! :) I tried importing it into an existing D&D5e (newly recreated) realm to test it out before posting here, and it errored/crashed then gave me a warning that it had to go in a Pathfinder realm. I'll try it again and see if it works differently this time.

EDIT -- Nope, it's hard-crashing Realm Works (I sent a report), then providing an import report saying: "The following errors were encountered during import: Cannot assign domain from different game system". Tried with a system-neutral realm, also, with the same result. :( Bug?
