Hey all,
I'm starting an evil campaign and I want to give all the characters the 'Negative Energy Affinity' ability, regardless of whether they are a Dhampiir or not. Basically I want to add a special ability to a race that does not have it. I played around with it for awhile, especially under the Personal tab, on the Permanent Adjustments section, but it wasn't working. Is this possible? Thanks in advance |

Yep. For your adjustment click on the blue button Bootstraps and bootstrap "raNegAffin" which is the Negative Energy Affinity ability of the Dhampir. No scripts needed and then save and press Test Now!. When you add that adjustment that racial ability will be added to your race.
If you don't have the Bestiary 2 add-on you will need to create that ability in the Racial Special tab first and give it a unique ID. Then use that Unique ID when you bootstrap to the adjustment. Hope that helps. Have you gone into the Editor to create your new adjustment? Maybe I inferred incorrectly from what you wrote that you where already in the editor trying to create a new Adjustment.
If not go to Tools->Launch Editor.. then go to File->New Data File and finally go to the Adjustment tab. From their on the bottom left click on the New(Blank) button and give your adjustment a new Unique ID (ie pNegAff). Then on the right side of the adjustment is the blue buttons with one marked Bootstraps. I took a screen shot and hopefully that helps also.
