I apologize if this is a redundant post, my search provided no real results. I have both the SRD and community pack for 5E. However, when I attempt to outfit NPC's, I am not finding basic equipment items like a coin purse and flint and steel. Does anyone know how I can manually add these items to the equipment list?

Give me a list of what you want added. It's easy enough to do. Will add to the Community Pack. You can submit the request via the link in my signature.

Flint and Steel is called "Tinderbox" in 5e. Or at least it lists flint.
A Coin Purse would be best done on the "Gear" tab selecting "- Custom Container -" and then once added calling it a Coin Purse. If you wish you can move "Money" then into the Coin Purse. Under Adjustments, I use Custom Name Equipment to do things like name a Pouch to Money Pouch. I name Clothes, Fine to Vestments, I also use Custom Text: Equipment to give things a short Description. Once I create the Adjustments, I just pouch them to the bottom of the list and out of the way.
This is much easier than adding new pieces of equipment through the editor. That I save so things that I just can't do with the things I listed above. Watch your back, Conserve your ammo, and NEVER cut a deal with a dragon! |
