How do I apply a bonus/penalty to the first attack.

Power Attack/Furious Focus specifically.

I've got this:
hero.child[Attack].field[tAtkMelee].value -= field[abValue].value

But I only want to apply the bonus to the first attack, not the subsequent attacks.

I am 99% sure you can NOT adjust just one of the BAB iterative attacks in HL currently. You either give a bonus or penalty to all attacks or nothing. This is why Furious Focus is left as just text right now.

The main reason Furious Focus is left as text is that the first BAB listed is what applies to attacks of opportunity or any other attacks you somehow gained during the round - if furious focus were applied, it would be incorrect for AoO's, and it's better that users remember to apply modifiers, rather than remembering to remove modifiers.

Thank you for the response. I understand the reasons, but wish there were some way that it would work.

I'm just not sure that that I'd remember each time. Not having to remember lots of modifier is what makes Hero Lab great!

I'm curious if there's some way that this could be indicated.

Perhaps something like:

Melee: +14/+6
AoO: +11
