So today I bought the Advanced Class Guide and then refreshed my license prior to attempting to download the update. I've tried multiple times throughout the day and each time I get about 75% and then receive the following message:

"Error downloading file from remote web-server. This is probably due to a problem with the web-server. Please try again in a little while."

I'd really like to get access to the content through HeroLab and since no one else has posted a message all day regarding such a error, (and I've been accessing other websites all day long) I wonder what I should do?

The Lone Wolf Development Staff is at GenCon 2014 until next Tuesday. You won't be likely to get a response from anyone "officially" until then.

Please do not PM me to inquire about datafiles I coded "for personal use" such as Exalted, World of Darkness, AD&D, or Warhammer 40K Roleplaying. I appreciate your interest, but I do not own the Intellectual Property rights to these game systems. Nor do I have permission from any of the Publishers to distribute the data files. As such, I cannot distribute the work I have done with community on these files. They are "for personal use" only. Thank you.

I am far too busy these days to answer emails. If you message me here there is no guarantee I will get back to you at all.

Aaron,

I think "Lone Wolf Staff" under your name says your replies are official. Welcome back.

Reset your modem and/or router. These things can lose their minds from time to time and need a little refresh. Not sure it is the problem but its a good easy place to start.
