Hey all,
There was a thread about creating trait scripts for Fire Mountain Games' excellent Way of the Wicked adventure path. What I haven't seen yet is a thread asking if anyone has created the Hero Lab encounter files (.por or .hl) for WotW. I'll be (co)GMing this campaign after our current one finishes up and having any part of these modules already created in Hero Lab would be much better than starting from scratch. Has anyone created any of the encounters for Way of the Wicked in Hero Lab? Maybe we could even work something out to split the work up between us (3 modules each, etc...). Thanks! |

Well it sure sounds like from THIS post that FGG already did a HL package for Way of the Wicked.

FGG did Rappan Athuk, which is a megadungeon and is different from WotW. :-)

Nothing to see here just move along!!!! This would be a great thing to add to the Community Bestiary and it has lots of monsters many of which may already be used or provide templates for building. Bah, I got all excited when I came out to the forums this morning and saw my thread had replies! Replies! Replies telling me that the files were already done for....Rappan Athuk (a truly amazing old school dungeon crawl btw). Darn. ShadowChemosh had me all excited too.
But I'm not losing hope! Surely, with all the people that have run and are running Way of the Wicked right now, or who plan to soon, someone either has created these in Hero Lab already, or knows someone who has. I really think this campaign would be a popular addition to the Pathfinder .hl files available for download at d20pfsrd.com, also. |

I am sexy and you know it!
Oh sorry probably the wrong kind of excitement. In good news I have had one the editors mention they may start on this actually in about a months time or so. I am sure everyone wants them sooner but darn real life always gets in the way. ShadowChemosh, that is indeed GOOD news, sir! A month's time is better than, well, a time frame longer than a month from now! Keep us in the loop, will you? I'm officially excited about this!

Just a word of encouragement/support for the editor who is/was thinking of doing this. I picked up the first five (of six) books yesterday and am very stoked about the idea of running this AP. I'm also a Hero Lab addict and want all of my players using it, so having a Hero Lab "plug in" for this (traits, feats, variant rules for liches and vampires) would be incredibly useful! (It would certainly get me quite excited.)

I plan on a purchase for this AP once book 6 comes out. When I have that I can look at possibly contributing/doing this.

Last I heard chapter one is about 75% done and I have seen beta copies in DropBox. So looks like the first part will be out soon.
