I upgraded and everything looks good...
Except my program list now shows Cortex twice! Any idea why and how I can fix it? |

Did you have the Cortex game system installed under a different folder than normal? If so, you should be able to just delete the almost-empty cortex folder to get rid of it. (You can access that folder by going to Tools -> Explore Folders -> Program Data folder, then switching to the "data" folder in the Hero Lab explorer window that appears.
If that doesn't help, please email me at colen@wolflair.com so I can investigate this further, as HL3.7 shouldn't be installing new Cortex stuff. |

I thought it was weird when I opened Hero Lab earlier tonight that it said it had a Cortex update. So maybe a dupe was created when I chose to download the update after I upgraded to the new HL version.
At any rate, your advice worked and now only one Cortex shows up in the starting menu. And the game still functions, so I'm happy. Thank you! |

Custom Output DTD
See the "Custom Output" section of the Hero Lab user manual for more details on custom output. Users looking to create their own custom output types can find the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game custom output DTD [here]. file:///C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/All%20Users/Application%20Data/Hero%20Lab/Data/pathfinder/customoutput.dtd This path and file do not exist. |

C:\Program Files\Hero Lab But, this does not contain any of the following directory or subdirectories. \\customoutput\ \\customoutput\sample I think something got left out as it is on neither of my computers running the uptodate HL. |

To help future readers here is the new folder location information from the HL manual about where 3.7 puts its stuff.
By default, Hero Lab keeps its files in three places. They are:
Hero Lab Resources: Pathfinder - d20pfsrd and Pathfinder Pack Setup 3.5 D&D (d20) - Community Server Setup 5E D&D - Community Server Setup Hero Lab Help - Hero Lab FAQ, Editor Tutorials and Videos, Editor & Scripting Resources. Created by the community for the community - Realm Works kickstarter backer (Alpha Wolf) and Beta tester.- d20 HL package volunteer editor. |
