I went to print out a character and checked first with the print preview. There is almost nothing listed to print. Worthless now that I can't print out a character.

Um what? You can't print a character at all? Or nothing at all displays in the print preview?

When doing a print preview their are 4 different types. One is for spells, another for the journal etc etc... If in example you have a fighter that has no spells and doing a Print Preview of the spells sheet then it will display nothing. So just be sure to select the character sheet. This got one of my players actually as HL seems to remember the last preview and defaults that that type of sheet.

If its some other issue any error messages or anything will help HL help you better.
 
Bug in the 'Free Hand Fighter' archetype for the Fighter class:
Equipping 'Unarmed Strike' as a second hand weapon seems to disable all the archetype's special abilities (Deceptive Strike, Elusive, Singleton). Singleton requires that the off hand be free, but unarmed strike satisfies that condition. Not sure why Deceptive Strike and Elusive are being disabled - mistaken copy/paste from Singleton, maybe?

All I could see was the journal. I went back today and now it is working ok. Strange.
 
When creating a sorcerer with the Rakshasa bloodline the 7th level spell Greater Polymorph is added to the spells known.
 
I was attempting to prepare a 3rd level spell in a 4th level slot. It wouldn't let me do that (which I can understand why that hasn't been implemented yet, after searching and finding a post in the 5.2 bug report threat).

My workaround was to create a custom metamagic ability "Prepared Higher". Level Adjustment 1, User chooses level adjustment selected. When I applied it, it worked.

Except that the DC was listed on my character's Spells and Wizard tab as if it were a 4th level spell. I tested with some other metamagics (ignoring the fact that I didn't have those feats) to find that they did the same thing.

So either this is a bug (metamagic's other than Heighten Spell are supposed to not improve the spell's level for DC purposes) or I'm doing something stupid that I can't figure out; I wouldn't put that past myself.

Try a pair of Spells Cast Per Day adjustments in the Other Adjustments table on the Adjust tab - one to reduce your 4th level spells, and one to increase your third level spells.

The metamagic/DC problem has been previously reported, and is on the to-do list.
 
Personally my answer to the memorize in a higher slot problem came up before Herolabs...I think Heighten Spell should just be a benefit of being a spellcaster. I always figured anyone that would prefer to memorize a spell as a higher spell (almost never happens in my games) then they can get the DC bump for free :)
 
I also noticed this with earlier versions. The feat weapon finesse lets the character att DEX to touch attackes as opposed to STR. Once you select this feat it does not change the bonus from STR to DEX.
 
Help with this monk

Hi.
I'm having trouble getting the amulet of mighty fists +2 and weapon focus (unnarmed) to reflect properly on the attached character. They're not adding up on the flurry of blows or on the CMB / CMB. Can anyone help me find what's wrong?

Ok HL says your Unarmed Strike is +14/+9. The values I see on the sheet are
BAB +7, STR +4, WF +1, AoMF +2 = +14. So that is correct.

Without Risner's community add-on for FoB their is NO monk flurry of blow values. If you are using the Melee Flurry values that is your generic melee Flurry NOT Flurry of Blows for your Unarmed Strike or Monk weapon.

So currently I don't see anything wrong on the sheet...

Created a human Oracle. When choosing favored class bonus Extra spell known does not let you change from spell level of 0.


Also-Haste does not add an extra attack like it should.

Also-Oracle of Life ability Lifesense is blindsight 30'. It is showing 15'
 
Animal Companion Error

I keep getting the attached error message whenever I save a portfolio that has a druid/ranger with an animal companion.

Don't know what causes it :(

problems with monster movement

I was creating a dark stalker Hero and i noticed that in the movement tab there base movement is listed as 0'; please advise on how to fix until next bug fix.
 
Adept not getting second level spells at 4th level

I apologize in advance if this is already known or it isn't a bug and I am missing something. I have a 4th level goblin adept with a wisdom of 18 who isn't getting access to 2nd level spells yet. According to the chart on p. 448 of the core rulebook I should be getting 0 2nd level spells (thus giving me 1 bonus spell for having an 18 wis). Am I missing something or is this truly a bug?

Thanks in advance for anything you can do. In addition to this bug report I want to take the time to let you all know how awesome and amazing your company is. You are revolutionizing the game and my whole group truly appreciates it.

BAB and light crossbow

7th Level human cleric with a BAB of +5, Dex 10, STR 20

All other weapons are fine but the Masterwork Light Crossbow which is showing a ranged attack of +4 :eek:
It should read +6 (+5 bab, 0 dex, +1 MW)

You need to use the adjust tab to move the level from 0 to the desired level. Many have posted on this as it clutters the adjust tab, but it does work.

Do you have the Both checked next to the weapon? Hero lab assumes one handed use (-2 to hit) if you don't check Both.
