New v2.6 ShadowChemosh Adjustments released! See THIS post for downloading and for a list of all adjustments.

PFS Gamers
I wanted to point out two adjustments specifically as I think many will find them very useful. The first are the "PFS, Equipment Valid" and "PFS, Race Valid". Some people are playing races in PFS that are only allowed because they have a boon and so HL shows an error. Many don't like this and would like a way to remove the red error. Well now you can by using these adjustments. :)

iPad Spellcaster
The next is the new "- Custom Spell Weapon -" adjustment that allows you to have the iPad roll dice for things like spells. Its very customizable to allow for a wide range of class abilities and spells. You add this on the adjust tab under "Spells". Once added from the drop down select the "Spell Weapon". Then change the 1d4+1 to the amount of damage dice to roll. Change the text "Spell Weapon" to be the name of your spell. In this example we see I have set it to Magic Missile for 4d4+4 damage. We see the iPad has correctly rolled the damage for us:

My higher level players have been using it and are really liking it so far. Hope others find it useful. :)

v2.6 Released 1/26/2014
-Added "Mythic Tier Abilities" that lets you adjust the count of Mythic Ability Score Increases, Mythic Feats, Mythic Other Abilities, Mythic Path Abilities, and Mythic Spells.
-Added "Caster Level, Elemental Spells"
-Added "Spell DC, Specific Subschool" and "Caster Level, Subschool"
-Added "- Custom Spell Weapon -" which allows for adding a customizable weapon so that you can get spells damage to be rolled on the iPad.
-Added "Equipment, Remove Activation" which will make a piece of equipment no longer show its activation check mark on the In-Play tab.
-Added "Race, Die Size" which allows for adjusting the die size of a race up or down. In example change a d8 to d10.
-Added "PFS, Equipment Valid" and "PFS, Race Valid" that allows for making a piece of equipment or your race to be valid for PFS play. This can happen when you have a boon to play a specific race.
-Name change "Equipment, Remove from In-Play" to "Equipment, Remove Trackable".
-Name change "Equipment, Make Trackable on In-Play" to "Equipment, Add Trackable".
-Added "Equipment, Add Activation" adjustment that will make a piece of equipment have a activation option on the "In-Play" tab.
-Added "Equipment, Remove Activation" adjustment that removes a equipment's activation option from the "In-Play" tab.
-Added "Equipment, Weapon Enhancement" and "Equipment, Armor Enhancement" which allows for increasing the magical bonus of a specific suite of armor or weapon. So lets say you have a "Dwarven Plate" and want to enchant it to be +1 now you can be using this adjustment. You could also take a "Assassins Dagger" that is by default +2 and make it +3 instead. You can't add special abilities like Light Fortification currently. :(

I have used the PFS Race Boon Adjustment and it only works on some of my race boons. Ifrit and Undine work properly but I still get a prerequisite error for Wayang and Nagaji. Any thoughts?

It looks like the Uncommon races are coded differently with special code in the background. Its going to take some looking to see if I can fix this. :(

Thanks for letting me know...

New v2.7 ShadowChemosh Adjustments released! See THIS post for downloading and for a list of all adjustments.

v2.7 Released 2/28/2014
-Fixed livename scripts that broke in Pathfinder v8.8.
-Added "Weapon Full Attack, ALL" and "Weapon Full Attack, Select" to allow forcing all weapons or a single selected weapon to get all its attacks.

I wanted to repeat this so it doesn't get lost in the Pathfinder 8.8 general topic.

My Gunslinger has so many different ammunition types that his actual weapons get totally buried, so I took advantage of the Weapon Order adjustment to put four weapons at the top of the list.

Since the Pathfinder 8.8 update, his pistol and dagger do not respond to the adjustment and are not re-ordered, although the other two weapons, a blade and ship's cannon, still respond normally.

This was true with both the 2.6 and 2.7 versions of the Adjustments add-on.

Thanks will try and get a fix soon but will most likely be Sunday before I get a chance.

Not a problem. I'm working around it by putting all the ammo on Weapon Hide, since it's pointless to select it, and it still appears in Tracked Resources.

New v2.8 ShadowChemosh Adjustments released! See THIS post for downloading and for a list of all adjustments.

v2.8 Released 3/3/2014
-Fixed "Weapon Order" so that it works with all types of weapons again.
-Added "Class, Base Attack Bonus" adjustment which allows to change the base attack bonus progression value from Slow, Medium or Fast rate. So do you want your monk to have full BAB like a fighter? Then add this adjustment, select monk, and select the Fast rate. Enjoy a full BAB monk!
-Added "Class, Fort Save", "Class, Ref Save", and "Class, Will Save" that allow for changing the save progression of a selected class from Slow, Medium or Fast.

From this thread: (bolded insertion for clarity mine)
Their is a difference on the iPad vs the desktop and a few of the community packages can NOT be installed together at the same time.

So in example because my adjustments file is part of the Community Bestiary you can [not] install the CB and my adjustments file on the iPad. Maybe someday but not now.

Question for you Shadow... since the CB content is obviously updated less frequently than your Adjustments package, would it be feasible to have incremental updates to the CB as you update the Adjustments to avoid the dual installation issues on the iPad?

Yes its possible but the CB is a very delicate package to put together including all the "delete" of old files that is in it. Basically it adds more time for what I have to do and basically my time is getting stretched so thin...

But also the problem is I think the CB can't work with the SGG package as they both contain the same .1st file.

Another thought is maybe for the iPad version of the CB I should just remove my adjustments addon. That way the adjustments can be updated separately actually. I mean as the iPad can't easily pull in the stock files my adjustment addon is not as needed.

That or when I put my adjustments into the CB I could change the Parent Source ID's so it wouldn't clash. Let me add it to my to-do list and see if I can find an easy way that would not add too much more time to maintaining these packages.

I guess my question is why is the CB on the iPads? Are people running monsters on the iPad during the games? Are these monsters custom ones created for the CB?

So after much research and help from Aaron this actually looks like it can't be done. :( The check is happening deep inside of HL and I can't affect it in anyway.

That all kind of answers the feasibility of doing CB updates just for the Adjustments. Don't go out of your way to do both just for the ease of iPad users as...

I've just used the iPad for characters, not monsters so I've not needed the CB on the iPad, but I've DEFINITELY used the Adjustments.

Stick to updating the Adjustments as you have been, and then just roll it into the CB as that is updated due to the complexity of the CB. It's a cost/benefit analysis and the cost out weighs the benefit.

I was just kicking around an idea and it won't work out for the best.

Your time is much better spent, and appreciated, doing what you do rather than trying to reinvent the wheel every time you come up with an adjustment. Which is what it sounds like it would be to update the CB more frequently. :D

So after some sleep I came up with an idea that should fix a bunch of issues all at once. I created the iPad Super Pack and I think I should be able to maintain this for iPad only downloads pretty easily. It contains the latest versions of: Community Bestiary, Community Player Pack, Psionics Unleashed, Super Genius Games, Path of War, and ShadowChemosh's Adjustments.

By doing this I eliminate several iPad packages as they are all combined into one big download. Then I only have to maintain the individual for Windows/Mac so I should be able to put out a iPad Super Pack update when ever I release any updates for one of its child packages. This also fixes lots of peoples issues with packages not playing nice together on the iPad. And I should actually come out with less work.

I think right now its a win/win!!! :D

SC Adjustments bug report:

Custom Armor Name and Custom Armor Text do not seem to work with mundane armor (e.g. leather armor, hide armor), though they work fine with custom/masterwork armors.
Timing issue???

Thanks. The way HL does livename's changed a version back. Thought I had it all fixed. Will take a look for next release.

New ShadowChemosh Adjustments released! See THIS post for download info.

v2.9 July 5, 2014 ShadowChemosh Adjustments.
  • Adjustments that use livename features have been fixed. Hopefully this time it sticks!
  • New "PFS, Feat & Traits" adjustment for making any feat or trait valid for PFS play.
  • New "PFS, Archetype" adjustment for making any archetype valid for PFS play.
  • New "PFS, xxx" adjustments now let you type a note into the "(source)" section of the adjustment and it will display on the name of the feat, trait, or equipment. This allows you to easily mark which boon allows for this feat, trait or equipment to be valid.
  • New adjustment "Equipment, Container Weight" that lets you increase/decrease the amount of weight a container can now carry.
  • New "Weapon Proficiency, Specific" adjustment lets you select a single specific weapon on your character to become proficient with.
  • New "Custom Name: Race" and "Custom Text: Race" adjustments added that allow for overwriting or appending to the name of your race.
  • All Custom "Custom Name: " and "Custom Text:" adjustments have been enhanced to allow using either the "(Source)" or "(Duration)" fields. This allows these adjustments to work correctly on the "Personal" tab now.
  • Included the Concentration skills for classes (it auto calculates its value you don't put ranks into it). These skills also pick up situational feats that apply to concentration checks like "Combat Casting".

This was a pleasant surprise upon updating. Thank you for this. One very side case I found, though, is that since the concentration is not opened up for adjustments to affect it, I have had to add one to make up for my character's Meticulous drawback (which puts a -2 penalty on any skills with zero ranks). This is a very side case, so I doubt its worth specifically checking for, just thought I'd bring it up here.
