AncientOne's Custom Pathfinder Sheet

Interesting... HL has done something I didn't expect in the XML. I'll need to make a tweak to the sheet for it.

There's the 'flurry of blows' ability itself (-1/-1) -- the sheet correctly displays this in the 'special abilities' section.
There's an entry on the weapon (+1/+1) -- this is the one the sheet is displaying in the weapon section, and it's correct for melee weapons.
There's an entry on the "rangedattack" element within the weapon (+0/+0). -- I'm not using this at all, but I'm guessing I *should* be using this one instead of the one above for ranged weapons.

Glad you found the problem and I'm not just going crazy. Is there anything I can change by hand to make the sheet correct until you get your sheet tweaked and a new version is released?

It's probably easier for you to wait until I release a fix (expect it on Wednesday or Thursday evening of this week).

Otherwise, you'd have to edit the raw XML to change the value and to import the stylesheet, and then run it through a style-sheet processor (some web browsers will do this, but some won't) to get the HTML.

Ack, no, that doesn't sound fun. I'll just wait for your update. Didn't figure you'd whip one out so fast.

Thanks again for the help.

Couple bug reports or "Thrantor is an idiot"s.

When looking at my character who is a wizard/cleric... the number of cantrips that can be cast is a limited number and not the unlimited that it should be. Easy enough to remember that you can cast it a bunch... but does mean the sheet is off.

Also, being able to have the quantities and money on an animal or minion would really help. That way we can keep track of things across all of our minions a bit easier.

Other than those things... I like it.

PS. And I love the save situational modifiers. :) WOOT!

Edit: Spell Summary on Separate page. There doesn't seem to be a way to have the spellbook spell summary without the full descriptions.

Thanks for the feedback Thrantor!

This is the way Hero Lab creates the data. It's because it's showing you the number of cantrips that you can actually *prepare* on a given day. I.e., you can cast the cantrips that you've prepared an unlimited number of times, but you can only cast the ones you've prepared.

It would look different for classes that don't prepare spells.

I have an error to report. Using Hero Lab beta 3.41 under Wine in Linux (I know sorry) whenever I try to create one of these outputs I get an error. It says

An error was reported: NULL error description
An error occurred while transforming the input file: The XML document 'C:
\users\<my username>\Temp\lwdcustom.xml' could not be loaded.

Line 0: error

Any idea what this means?

What are the chances you can add tracking boxes to the character sheet?

They're already (optionally) supported in the "tracked resources" section, in the "AncientOne's" sheet style. Where were you thinking of them?

That's definitely an overall HeroLab item, as opposed to something specific to this custom sheet. You should probably report it in the general "bug report" thread (although I don't know if they'll be able to help since it's an unsupported platform... Good luck!)

I am not seeing that Option... Where is it?

Just enable "On-Sheet Controls" and a click on the "refresh" button (looks like 2 arrows chasing each other in a circle) that appears in the upper-left corner of any given section to cycle through the available styles for that section.

Found it, thanks!

Think you can add a Tracked resources to Pathfinder/PFS Standard?

Oracles andf mysteries

I tried to output my character using this custom sheet, but found two issues: First, my oracle mystery Sidestep Secret doesn't show anywhere on the sheet, even though the Armor Class does adjust for it, but should be listed somewhere so my GM can see why I get a Dex bonus of +5 to my AC instead of only +1 (Cha 21, Dex 13). Second, my Bag of Holding and two belt pouches list as "empty" and all equipment lists as "gear in no container"; is there a way to correct this?

I have the same problem with containers. They all list as "empty" and all my stuff is listed under "Gear In No Container". I'd really like to see the items in their containers.

I'll have to look into this one.

This is a limitation of Hero Lab (unless something has changed recently that I'm not aware of). That is, Hero Lab knows what items are in what containers, but it doesn't output that information for custom sheets to use.

There is a work-around, although not ideal: My sheet allows you to drag-and-drop items between containers directly on the sheet. You can enable this by activating "On-Sheet Controls" in the Control Panel, and then just drag individual items between containers.

Ah, thanks. That'll do, for now at least.

Wonderfull output that i print every games.
I got a question tho :
Is there a place that i didnt look with the concentration score ? Many traits/ alternate race give bonuses, it appear on the normal HF sheet but i cant find it on this one.

One option is a little addon I have that adds "Concentration" skills for each class. You add it to your character and it auto-calculates its value. This is also nice for those of us that still look in the skill section for the value. :) Another really cool feature is that if you dual class Cleric/Wizard for example you add Concentration: Cleric & Concentration: Wizard to you character and you then correctly show each value separately.

You can download it from d20pfsrd HERE.
