I think its the new "check box" on the "Configure Your Hero" that is confusing people. I know it did me for a few minutes. The below picture should help. So once you turn on the Book "Mythic Adventures" you then have to tell HL that you are a Mythic Character. Then the new "official" mythic tab opens. I would advise moving stuff over to the official version. Then turn off the playtest. Then save your character and go to "Tools->Manage 3PP updates" and actually remove the "Mythic Playtest". On your next load of your character you may get a few messages about missing "Things" or sources. The "Things" messages will go away as soon as you save your character. To remove the "Source" messages you have to go to "Portfolio->Strip Missing Sources". So with the official release the Mythic Playtest is going to be considered deprecated and will no longer be supported. Feel free to keep using it but if it breaks something in future versions of HL I doubt I will fix it. Actually, on second thoughts, don't ignore me. iPad is on Pathfinder version 7.17, and there aren't any updates showing on the Hero Lab internal update mechanism. Also ran a test on my tidied up Mythic party (have converted them over to the full rules) and tried loading them, and I get errors up the whazoo. They're completely clean on my desktop version.

There's a reason I shouldn't do releases at 8am the morning of the convention. Sorry all, iPad release should now be live.

Thanks Colen. Briefly tested both the iPad with mythic and boosted some creatures for the final chapter of Slumbering Tsar with mythic templates. It works great, but is there any plan to do a demon lord template like from the paizo blog a couple weeks ago?

I just updated my license and bought all the books I did not have. I got a copy of the Mythic Adventures hardcover on Wed. because I work for a distributor, but I did not see a dataset available for Mythic adventurers when I updated. Is it now available? Everyone here is at Gencon except me ROFL!

I am not at GenCon.
Mythic was released yesterday morning since the book was not officially released until yesterday. So you can go get the license for Mythic now. |

Thank you, I guess I was ahead of the ball this time. ROFL! I guess we can commiserate on our lack of GenCon'ness!
