The data files could not be loaded due to errors. Hero Lab will now attempt to load them in recovery mode. Once loaded, you can access the editor as normal to correct any errors.

The following errors occurred:

File: We_Be_Goblins.user (line 27) - Thing - Duplicate record encountered ('trPustular')
File: We_Be_Goblins.user (line 46) - Thing - Duplicate record encountered ('trBouncy')

Anyone know how to fix it?

I uploaded a new version of the We_Be_Goblins.zip file that has a fixed .user file in it.

The big thing to remember is that as soon as HL gets a Duplicate Thing error on Load it goes into Safe Mode. So it does not load ANY .user files. Without the .user file loading you can not load any of the .por (character) files as everything it needs from the .user is not going to be present.

So re-download the .zip file from d20pfsrd and make sure you replace the .user, in your Hero Lab\data\pathfinder folder, and then restart HL and you should be good.

This I didn't know until I searched the forums and saw another thread with the same error you and Mathias replied with how to fix it. Now I know, and posted to my posts that I solved the problem. Probably should have posted an exact fix, but was busy prepping for a game.

Hello All,

New Updates.

Latest Updates 9/19/2011

New Rise of the Runelords v1.0 (2011.09.19).hl v1.0. by Paris.Crenshaw, djc664, Bart Hewitt, and myself. This is a .hl file which means it is a Hero Lab Import File. This will make importing of community add-ons much easier. After downloading simply double click on the .hl file and Hero Lab will start prompting you to install the new data set. This importer will install all the files into the correct locations for you.

Once installed you will have many additional RotRL creatures and new traits (the feats where turned into traits. The feats where still left as is). Also in your "\portfolios\pathfinder\" folder you will find a new folder now called "Rise of the Runelords" and inside chapters 1 through 6. These store the .por or character files created by the community. You can also find some of the monsters by going to "Portfolio->Import Stock hero..." and finding "Rise of the Runelords" in the list.

Hopefully everyone likes this better than having to manually put .user and .por files into the correct locations.

Download at d20pfsrd in the Pathfinder Adventure Paths folder.

Note: To remove start HL and go to "Tools->Manage Third-Party Updates..."
