The thread Seeker of Secrets - Boon Companion goes over the feat in question. Hope that helps. As the coder for SoS - I believe something is wonky when not used as an Animal Companion. So there may be issues with a Familiar or other aspect that would allow you to use up to +4 of your character level to your 'animal' provider level.
But as I'm not much good with coding HL - I'm going on what I've heard from others when using Boon Companion for from the Seeker Of Secrets.user file. Of course, if someone is able to 'fix' Boon Companion - please do so inside SoS.user and then send it to ShadowChemosh so that we can have a more corrected file. At least until Mathias gets off his lazy keyboard and makes a real Seeker Of Secrets file.....of course, he's being lazy, he hasn't finished the APG, and I'm sure many other files. Just lazy, I tell you. Sarcasm. Theocrat Issak Las Vegas Lodge Gaming Agent PFSTheocrat@gmail.com |

I noticed this very problem when I was working on a multiclass witch the other evening. I know nothing about how the coding in HL works and whoever has taken on the responsibility for SoS they seem to have broken that feature.
