Every time that I load up HL on an existing character it has 1 more skill point than what is legal in the rules, if I touch anything like the skills button, my ability scores, anything, it changes back to where it's supposed to be (6 for me, it bugs and says 7) and usually claims I've overspent skill points if I added a point to 7 to make it "happy".

If I save it with 7/6 skill points used, as over-spent, and I load up the character, there are no bugs, until I press any button and then it breaks again.

Anyone know if there is a setting or something somewhere that is making this problem?

Thanks!

How would I go about doing that? I'm new to Hero Lab, but for some reason I re-created the character and it's still doing it... plus my Magus doesn't have this issue lol.

Save a portfolio of the character showing this problem. Then click on the "Go Advanced" button below where you post to the forum. One of the options for the advanced post is adding an attachment to the post. Select the saved portfolio to add as an attachment.

You need to have the third party pack and have Ultimate Psionics ON... if that helps at all for debugging and such...

Thanks! I found the issue and its a timing issue in the way stuff is loading from a saved .por file.

I will have this fixed in the next release this weekend. Until then you can do the following to fix it:

1) Start HL
2) Go to "Tools->Show Editor".
3) Go to "File->Open Data File...."
4) Select "COM_3PPPack_UltimatePsionics - Classes.user".
5) Click on the "Class" tab.
6) Click on the "Favored Class Optn (45)" tab.
7) On the left side click on the "fcPUPwrPnt" "+1 Power Point" thing.
8) Look for "Sources" near the end of options.
9) Click the blue 'EDIT' button.
10) Click "Select None".
11) Save the file and restart HL.

So I picked the +1 PP for level one, not the Skill Point, I'm going to try ^ All that again and see if I can't fix this.

Yes, that fixed it. You guys are good !

Thanks!

(Any adding in an option to have Vigor get it's own option for Spell Adjustments since by lvl 9 you'd have to use 2 False Life, Greater selections to get more Temporary Health Points? :-) )

Adding Adjustments for "Powers" is on the to-do list but so are many other things. So they will happen eventually.

I was enormously happy when I found out you guys had Ultimate Psionics in your free files . I don't mind waiting, just is a minor inconvenience is all, no worries!
