So were doing WBL and starting at level 2 which means I've 1000G to spend but being a witch I can't figure out what I aught to buy.

I figure basic equipment for my witch will set me back about 30G and any single item we buy cannot cost more then 500G.

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to increase my AC (currently at 12 with a 15 in dex) as a witch isn't proficient with any armors or shields. So of course will be preparing mage armor. However I am not sure that 2 hours of 16 AC is going to be nearly enough.

If anybody has any sugestions for gear that I could purchase I'd greatly appreciate it.

So this HL Pathfinder forum is really meant for answering questions about using HL with Pathfinder. How to use the software or implement houserules or how to use the Editor.

You won't really get "character" build advice here.

I recommend the "advice" forum over on Paizo boards they are very helpful with your type of question.

1,000 GP doesn't far for improving an Arcane Caster's AC, the trick is to just avoid getting hit in combat. You could buy scrolls and potions to help but you're still low enough level that you shouldn't die by massive damage from a single hit. Scrolls of Mage Armor (you can save money with Scribe Scroll) would be your best friend.

You may also wish to consider just getting a wand of Mage Armor at CL 1 and casting it each hour.

Please do not PM me to inquire about datafiles I coded "for personal use" such as Exalted, World of Darkness, AD&D, or Warhammer 40K Roleplaying. I appreciate your interest, but I do not own the Intellectual Property rights to these game systems. Nor do I have permission from any of the Publishers to distribute the data files. As such, I cannot distribute the work I have done with community on these files. They are "for personal use" only. Thank you.

I am far too busy these days to answer emails. If you message me here there is no guarantee I will get back to you at all.
