Can someone tell me why my animal companion for my 1st level druid get a +2 ability score increase?

Your going to have to give allot more information than that. I just created a level 1 druid with an Ape animal companion and I don't get any ability score increases.
Can you post your .por file? Any custom stuff you have running? Sorry, I thought it was something common I missed.
If you look at the minion tab, it's under racial, template and faction abilities. I made this character with PFS rules. Here's the file: |

It is because you've taken the Eye for Talent alternative racial trait, which provides that as a bonus.
