How does the summon monster package work? I purchased it to get quick access to stat blocks for my summonable monsters during play, but I can't find anywhere in either my ipad or desktop version of the app that allows me to do so.

I've turned it on on my character on my iPad, I just don't see how to actually make use of it.

The Summon Monster Creatures package is an Encounter Library. In Windows you get to it through the Gamemaster menu (not intuitive, I know). I'm not sure how/if that works on the iPad.

If it doesn't turn out to be directly accessible on the iPad, it occurs to me that you could use the Mac/Windows version to build a portfolio of your usual Summons and put that on your iPad (or Dropbox) and import from that.

That would be the only way on the iPad actually.

That's basically what I've done - I added all the options for SMII to my relic hunter's portfolio. I'm not sure how well it's going to run with all those extra characters loaded though - I've noticed that the desktop version gets really laggy with more than four or five characters in one portfolio.

Can you keep the Summons in a separate Portfolio and just add and delete them as you need them?

(Sorry, I've never used or even seen Hero Lab's iPad version.)

I'm not sure if the iPad can import characters from one portfolio to another. Worth checking out I suppose.

This is certainly winding up as more prep work than I'd hoped for.

Nope. Only the desktop software can do that. In matter of fact its the ONLY thing most of my players still use desktop software for.

Having the tablet interface available along with all the capability of the desktop version on a Windows 10 tablet/hybrid would be glorious.
