Hi guys,

I've been using Hero Lab for Pathfinder for a little while now, and it's been really useful. There is one niggling detail though: on page 82 of the PF Core Rulebook, it states that familiars have exactly half the Hit Points of their masters. I'm a level 3 wizard with 10 HP, but my raven familiar has only 3 HP.

Is this a bug, or am I missing something?

Please see attached character sheet.

Yep, I reported it the other day, and got a message back stating that it's been added to the to-do list!

I've gotten this one fixed.

P.S. this bug affects familiars, animal companions, and eidolons.

P.P.S. It only exists if one of the following options is turned on:
Pathfinder Society Organized Play Character
Average HPs at new levels
Maximum HPs at new levels

Very odd. I don't have any of those options turned on, and it still does it. But, glad to hear it's been fixed, looking forward to my hedgehog having more HP.

Then please follow up on your report with a saved character, so I can make sure I fixed it in this case.

Thank you. There turned out to be two familiar HP bugs. One of them also affected animal companions and Eidolons and added more HP (the average or maximum rolls of each hit die got added twice to the overall total - that's the one I mentioned above). The second was familiar-specific - the con bonus, favored class HP, and toughness feat of the master weren't being included when calculating the HP of the familiar.

I apologize for not reading the reports I've gotten over the last few days closely enough to realize that there were two different bugs affecting the same thing.

I don't know if we can take that apology. No excuses for not detail reading hundreds of threads, emails, and PMs. So I think when I see you at GenCon I will have to use my +5 Vorpal CORE rule book on you! Sorry it has to be done.
