I'm using the Pathfinder beginner box for this game, although I have the full one as well. I'm playing a mage who took the Improved Spell Difficulty feat for the Sleep spell. The first copy of the spell I take for the day has a DC of 17, but the second copy of the same spell that I memorize has a DC of 15. On the feat page, when I drop down the list of spells I could be applying the feat to, it shows the Sleep Spell listed twice, which is weird as it should be taking the list from the spell book, not from the currently memorized list. Is this a bug, or am I missing something?
Thanks, Rick |

Wouldn't you just increase the number of times you have memorized Sleep to be x2 instead of adding the spell again?

Doh! Of course that works. I just saw the big "Add Level 1 Spell" text and missed the < > arrows. Thanks for pointing out the obvious to me Of course it's weird that you are then *allowed* to pick Sleep a second time if that's not going to work right.

The one reason is that the ability to make a spell x2,x3 or what not is a feature that only got added this year I think it was. So adding it multiple times would keep the software backwards compatible with characters made the old way.
