You really need to tell people that you have to download the PDF file to their computer and run it for the first time. I have found nothing on the site that tells you this and it can be very madding trying to get it to work. You can't run it from the update screen like other files.

Or when the installers says "Close the program using the plug-in" click behind the install window and shut down HL. Click "Continue" or "Ok" and the install finishes.
