Hello,

Is anyone else experiencing issues where Checking for Updates times out frequently in the last several days?

It happens both on my mac and windows system, don't appear to be having internet related issues otherwise, did the usual disable AV, disable firewall, reboot, and typical troubleshooting, but it still seems to fail pretty consistently.

Anyone else having issues?

Thanks!

I am seeing the same issues on my Windows and iPads. I was just starting to check to see if it was my Community Server or LW servers. Due you guys have the community servers for Pathfinder setup?

Hero Lab Resources:
Pathfinder - d20pfsrd and Pathfinder Pack Setup
3.5 D&D (d20) - Community Server Setup
5E D&D - Community Server Setup
Hero Lab Help - Hero Lab FAQ, Editor Tutorials and Videos, Editor & Scripting Resources.

Mine's also failing, and I do have the community servers set up.

Currently Running: Pathfinder Second Edition
Currently Playing:
Pathfinder First Edition, Star Trek Adventures
Former HL Games: D&D 4e & 5e, Mutants & Masterminds 2E & 3E, Savage Worlds

I have the community bestiary as well, but as others have indicated it sure seems like this problem disappeared late eastern time and is quite snappy this morning.

I'm running into a problem updating now. I didn't have the community site installed and it gives me an error that it can't connect.

Hey everyone, there was an issue with the server that likely caused updates to slow down over the weekend. However, it was resolved in the wee hours of the morning today. Sorry for the inconvenience!
