Greetings! I am growing frustrated in that I can't seem to Add the "Celestial" template to my familiar. Improved familiar allows you to take a familiar with the celestial template on it at level 3, but Hero Lab doesn't have a place where you can "Add template". I tried creating my own in the Hero Lab Editor. I basically copied the Fox character under the Minion/Hirelings tab and just added the Celestial Template to it, giving it the name "Celestial Fox" and the unique ID CelFox, and yet it doesn't show up in the familiar race list. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks! |

Templates are added on the 'Classes' tab of the familiar itself. Just created a test wizard and added a Arctic Fox. Then went to the Arctic Fox's "Classes" tab and added Celestial.
You will need to have turned on one of the following books in "Configure Your Hero" to see it: Bestiary, Bestiary Free Content or Summoner's Sidekick. Hero Lab Resources: Pathfinder - d20pfsrd and Pathfinder Pack Setup 3.5 D&D (d20) - Community Server Setup 5E D&D - Community Server Setup Hero Lab Help - Hero Lab FAQ, Editor Tutorials and Videos, Editor & Scripting Resources. Hmm. I don't seem to have that option even with all 3 of those books checked. Ther character is a lvl 4 Fighter (Eldritch Guardian) Maybe that's the difference?
