I am wondering if the new feats for NPCs will be accessible for PCs in Hero Lab? Sorry if this has been asked.

All the new content is available by adding Monster Codex to your license

Okay - thanks! What I am unsure about is whether the new Feats for the NPCs are actually usable by PCs too - does that make sense?

They're usuable if the PCs meet the prereqs I'd say, many have race requirements.

If you take a feat that you don't meet the pre-req's then the feat will still function correctly but HL will give you a "warning" message. So if your DM says you can take a race specific feat you can just take the feet and ignore the "red" warning text.

A good indication as to what would be useful to PCs may be the Pathfinder Society Organized Play's Additional Resources list: http://paizo.com/pathfinderSociety/a...lResources#RPG - basically, that's what another GM has chosen to allow their players to use from Monster Codex. Monster Codex is almost at the bottom of the page in that link.

Thanks - I think i will wait to see whether any PCs find a feat they want. If so, then I may consider buying the resource. Thanks for you time!

There were a lot of new PC options, if your GM allows them, such as archetypes, feats, alternate race traits, and magic items. I don't think it's a waste for a player to have such options but it depends on what your GM will let you use.

Please do not PM me to inquire about datafiles I coded "for personal use" such as Exalted, World of Darkness, AD&D, or Warhammer 40K Roleplaying. I appreciate your interest, but I do not own the Intellectual Property rights to these game systems. Nor do I have permission from any of the Publishers to distribute the data files. As such, I cannot distribute the work I have done with community on these files. They are "for personal use" only. Thank you.

I am far too busy these days to answer emails. If you message me here there is no guarantee I will get back to you at all.
